      1975-1979 believe I worked as child diver for QE2 in Sandy Point NS and may have known Friedrich Wilhelm, Prince of Hohenzollern better than I recall his son. However I may recall him slightly. Assisted many Germania royals in clearing the depots of Royal antiquities. Love those memories. It was immense wealth and treasuries of several germanic royal houses. Awaiting my dues 44 years. They may have been spent.

      It was abolished under the Second Chapter of the Weimar Constitution, however, it allowed for the courtesy use of their titles.
      So, to summarize, no they don’t hold any power, just private citizens with powerful ancestors.

    I am also old and i mean OLD aristocracy , Danish, Norwegian, French, Russian and British , my direct family tree dates back to the 5th century and after that it become part legend part history since we can go back to the Gallic empire . And there is one thing about modern aristocrats that is common to all of them , it is this tendency to invent a purpose to their life as not to appear unoccupied . They truly invent purposes , they are artists , designers, free lancers of course . God forbids they show that they really don't need the money . I despise these types . If you are wealthy , flaunt it or do something relevant with your life, don't just invent an occupation that costs you more money than it brings you , so that you have something to complain about .
    I could spend my life just living in hotel suites and travelling , and i sadly did that for a while , there was nothing more vapid and unrewarding . I went back to school became a veterinarian and today the only money i spend is on animals and on my kids and friends . I wake up at 6am and never sleep before midnight, exhausted after 14 hours working, but now i have real friends who like me for what i do , not who i am .
    My family owns 17 castles over 4 countries and i don't even know how many other residences . I inherited 3 castles one in Scotland and two in France and 5 manors in London, Oslo, St Petersburg, Paris and everything has been turned into something useful . The castle are all used for animals , we opened shelters there for farm animals rescued from the slaughterhouse , and animals rescued from fur factories, circuses, horrid zoos and movie sets , people who live in the castle are either vet students or true animals lovers in need of a temporary place to stay with their pets until they get situated . Two manors are used as an alternative hospice for elderly and for physically and mentally challenged people and the one in Russia is a gay center where the LGBT community can feel really safe and where the russian anti gay nonsense can't reach and hurt them .
    I would feel pathetic organizing art festivals in my backyard . Money is only worth spending if it is spent to help others (mostly animals in my case, i am not so empathetic toward people , except the disabled) and life is only meaningful if it doesn't solely benefit yourself and if you use yours to helps others .

      Maybe a dumb question but do you know other noble people, if so, how? do you have a club of some kind?

    • @morganolfursson2560
      @morganolfursson2560 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      There are clubs and you need to show your pedigree before joining them . They are utterly uninteresting . As for noble people, you meet them everywhere, you just don't know they are nobles and neither do it .
      What country do you live in , if it is a place i know i may be able to tell you where to find them .
