It was someone else that screwed up the investigation. He fired that guy at the end of 2019 after he lied to onision victims about sending evidence to authorities and causing problems in the community.
In regards to his child falling out of a window: He wouldn't need to think about what the internet is going to say if he didn't have such an extensive track record for being a abusive creep and overall trainwreck.

My parents were going on their first date since having my sister and my grandparents AC was broken, my mom told my grandma not to open the bottom window instead open it from the top so she couldn’t fall out on accident. Turned out the top one was painted shut and my grandma opened it later in the afternoon without thinking...she turned her back to put away laundry and my sister pushed her hands against the screen to see what my grandpa was doing outside better and fell. Luckily my grandpa was in the medical profession and was able to keep her still until paramedics arrived. And even luckier my sister just had horrible bruises no broken bones no bleeding etc (my parents didn’t know that my grandma had undiagnosed mental illness at the time and she didn’t watch either of us after that until she got help for it. She also felt absolutely horrible and to this day 24 years later she can’t talk about it without sobbing) It’s awful but I don’t think it makes people inherently horrible parents people make mistakes and as much as we shouldn’t it happens sometimes (that being said YES YOU SHOULD NOT LEAVE WINDOWS OPEN but if it happened you’re not inherently a bad person)

As a parent, if my child was injured even in a minor fashion, my priority is them, their recovery. Not anything else. Onision is mad as a snake. Chris Hanson is a huge disappointment and honestly the whole thing feels sour and ruined. So sad that this will never have a tangible end with the bad guys getting their beans.

The whole Chris Hanson thing was incredibly disappointing. This is someone we've all known and loved, who put away predators. As soon as he got his hands on it he absolutely ruined everything. He's also gone on to sell the story to mainstream media. This is the opposite of what the victims wanted. Bearing in mind if the regular Joe public see it, and they will be outraged but it's more likely to see a push for charges against onision. It just wasn't consensual from the victims of all of this.

John swan saying 'the last time Hansen showed up at someone's house, it ended in a man's death' was a little vague considering the man was an assistant DA who was engaging in sexual conversations with a minor and tried to meet up with them.
The man still ended up killing himself though so it was technically a true statement and it makes more sense in the context of the rest of John swans video where he does over that event in a good amount of depth

Broke my arm when I was 4 years old, was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life and it was the arm that ended up getting me so close to the pro's in FPS games. (CS, OW, Rust, etc) Sucks that I have a bit of lingering damage in it which made me mostly a wrist user with a mouse but ya wanna know how it happened? I gotta admit, you’re 100% right about Hansen showing up at Onision’s door. However... I think in reality, we needed someone to take the bullet and kind of give TH-cam a wake-up call in terms of being an absolute piece of trash on the platform and in real life, and Hansen doing this to Onision had to happen. I honestly think at this point, if Hansen never did this, Onision as a whole wouldn’t be diminished to the point where he barely reaches 5K views, and that’s because it helped bring the story to the mainstream. The whole Chris Hanson thing was incredibly disappointing. This is someone we've all known and loved, who put away predators. As soon as he got his hands on it he absolutely ruined everything. He's also gone on to sell the story to mainstream media. This is the opposite of what the victims wanted. Bearing in mind if the regular Joe public see it, and they will be outraged but it's more likely to see a push for charges against onision. It just wasn't consensual from the victims of all of this.

Broke my arm when I was 4 years old, was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life and it was the arm that ended up getting me so close to the pro's in FPS games. I gotta admit, you’re 100% right about Hansen showing up at Onision’s door. However... I think in reality, we needed someone to take the bullet and kind of give TH-cam a wake-up call in terms of being an absolute piece of trash on the platform and in real life, and Hansen doing this to Onision had to happen.
