I think this is perfect as designed.... I would make the lower level capable to be closed off and design a Ship style hidden double bunk in a wall on the lower level for guests or ? and put a large screen television on the wall in the lower floor as well for entertainment.... I understand the upper level being a full hotel suite concept... It's a great design...
Cute. Just concerned about the extended roof in relation to typhoons. The recommendation is a roof close to the side of the house.

Ang mahal para sa maliit na flr area tsaka hindi naman sya bahay kubo style. Parang 60’s-70’s style ang exterior. Modern ang loob tho. Pero maganda sya, cute and i like it.

Great design. Can you make a 2 storey modern bahay kubo with 1 masters bedroom and 2 regular bedroom. With 1 kitchen dining table inside and another dining table that sits outside or in a balcony.

Bathroom is too cramped. Typical of most Philippine Architecture. They don’t care too much for the bathroom. You could have added may be a few more feet of space.

Why have 2 cooking, living & eating spaces but only 1 bedroom? Wasted opportunity for another bedroom that could add more value to the house.
