A large influence on the design of bahay na bato is actually Chinese and Japanese with a sprinkling of Goa Indian, it is a combination of these plus Spanish aesthetic adopted to the local climate.
I thought bahay na bato was inspired from bahay kubo. Whatever it is, it is still original to the philippines because aside from what you said about adopting it to the local climate, it is created in the philippines, even if it came from a mixture of influences. Just like how Russia cannot claim Ukraine even if it was once part of it.

Wow it would be really nice to stay there and have a feel of how it was to live in the past. Nowadays a lot of airbnbs are modern or tropical beach themed. This one I think would feel really different and relaxing in its own way.
