    Tip #10 switch between sport and eco to coast. In eco, the regen braking is lessened so it makes coasting easier.

      Or turn regen off or you can lower the level of it to coast better , I’ve got mine on 2 which is ok for me .. I’m not 100% sure on how much of a regen you actually get on these though

    Huge tip is getting a shock pump and setting the front shock to 150psi

    Every time you get the bike wet you’re creating potential for the bearings to rust. Watch some of the videos where the guys replace the rear suspension components. The bearings come out rusty as crap. Also you need to be careful about the electronics. I’m not saying don’t wash, I’m just saying be careful. And washing after every ride is excessive, especially if it’s a dry street ride.
    Don’t run the battery down too low, I never see anyone talk about that. You can really damage these batteries if you don’t practice good battery maintenance.

    • @rickyonwheels5413
      @rickyonwheels5413  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah overall better to keep the bike as dry as possible but if your getting it muddy or salty it’s always better to wash it IMO Just don’t use a pressure washer. It has all sealed bearings and as long as everything’s greased properly and you dry your bike out after you wash there should be no worries..

    thats a great tip about the pad underneath the battery! makes a lot more sense not to stick it, since the weight of the battery will keep it in place anyways.

    cool video bro, these r honestly some good unique tips that i haven't really heard people talking about, they usually all same the same shit lol. Btw, when you say wash ur bike after ever ride, i feel like that's a bit excessive, how long do u wash ur bike for?

      thanks thats sick to hear! i feel you if im just riding it on the street and its dry ill wait a couple rides to wash it but if i take it in the dirt or ride it when its wet i wash it after every single ride.

    Number 1 dont listen to people who say you SHOULD learn to catwalk your Surron. If you try once and dont feel comfortable enough to try it again, then don't. iT'S not worth wrecking your fenders and seat just to impress ANYONE. ALSO IF YOU WANT TO SKIP MESSING WITH YOUR BRAKE SENSOR. SPENE THE MONEY FOR A NEW CONTROLLER. iT'S WORTH SAVING UP FOR EVEN WITHOUT UPGRADING YOUR MOTOR TOO.

I don't have 1st hand experience with cutting when not needed but seen another vid where someone did. cut before realizing theirs was already unlocked. That person had issues and had to splice the wire back together to get the bike to work correctly (full speed) but the way they cut it made very hard to splice

    eco mode is technically the green wire, so if you really want to feel what the bike feels like with less power, like without cutting the green wire, put it in eco mode , and cut the green wire.

    Just a question, do you prefer more or less rebound for wheelies?

    • @jacobchaisson5458
      @jacobchaisson5458 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The fork doesn’t matter that much but more rebound will make it easier to pop up the front and less rebound in the back will be easier to control as it won’t be super bouncy

    • @rickyonwheels5413
      @rickyonwheels5413  ปีที่แล้ว

      do you mean regen? or are you talking about rebound in the suspension? if your talking about suspension I agree with Jacob on this one. If your talking about brake regen I've never changed mine so I cant really say.
