to me he looks like he's over acting,he's got a lot of yellow cards especially in the last few months. It's like he's deliberatly showing that he his a head case and gets booked all the time. For me I THINK he's guilty by just telling his mates and family that he will get booked. These people were idiots and got greedy by putting these bets on game after game. Paqueta probably said he can't get found out. It would have been easy for him to say I'LL GET BOOKED guys put your house on it.

The F.A. Have been investigating this for over 12mths & would NEVER have charged him if there wasn’t strong evidence. I’d be more concerned about how this affects us over the summer & how we can recoup as much from this sh*t show (suing him etc) because he’s looking at a serious, making an example of him level ban (its WAAAAY more serious that the Tonali/Toney situation).
I believe he's guilty but if there isn't any real evidence he ,s simply regarded as innocent ..Then I guess he'll sue the FA??

Remember Keiren Trippier was found guilty with 100% undeniable evidence of doing the same 'manipulating the betting markets' and the FA gave him a 10 week ban and a £70k fine. The same FA are saying he's refused to cooperate which is a blatant lie because they've said that he's cooperated earlier in the season by handing over his phone and was interviewed twice.
Would the betting firms involved not also bring a case against the participants involved and pass this to the police ?
Does the FA have the power to stop him playing (under there rules = for example withdrawing his player registration) even if he is suspected (but not proven in UK court of law) of a betting scandal?........

Just like people betting on him to get booked then him getting booked isn't really enough evidence that he was involved. He most likely was but if they don't have concrete evidence to say so then finding him guilty will open up a can of worms regarding all winning bets that involve individual players actions and also legal repurcussions from the player.
It's worth noting that what he's accused of is illegal, if the police thought he's committed a crime then they wouldn't wait for a sports bodies verdict before charging him themselves.
