Lily is not only a service animal for her owner, but she is also “serving” as an ambassador of good will for a breed that has been abused and mishandled. Thank you Ma’am for adopting Lily and demonstrating what can be possible when love and care enters the life of an animal. Great job, Doc for bringing Lily’s story to us. ❤
I have owned four service animals in my life. One was a Great Dane Mastiff his name was Grover. Second one was Carmen she was a golden retriever. Third one was a lab his name was Samson. And now I have Buster he is a lab mix. All of my animals I got at the shelter and they were trained to do what I need done. Buster helps me out of the chair gets my medicine helps me off the floor if I have to go down and do something. He helps me over curbs. If I drop anything whatsoever he picks it up and brings it to me he gets the phone for me if it rings. And he loves going to the grocery store with me. He is 8 years old and got arthritis so some of his activity has definitely stop some of the stuff. But that doesn't stop him from wanting to try. Doc you are the best. And the animals know it and they love you for it. I love you for it 🥰🐕🦺🤗. If you were closer I would bring Buster up to see you to help with his arthritis.
Aww Lily. So sweet.. I loved how she was thinking about her appointment. She didn't look like she knew what exactly was happening but was totally on board for it once she was probably feeling so good. She was doing so good on her back leg stretches and tail pulls. I'm glad to see she has a happy pep in her step after she was done.
Kim if you read the comments, so sorry for your loss. Looks like you got another good one in Lily. I think Lily felt brand new after all that!! As always Dr Doug telling her how pretty she is to get some smooches 🤣 Lily was giving me Ruby vibes with how happy she was and wanting tummy rubs. Great job Dr Doug. You could really see how good she was feeling. That must make you feel amazing!! Have a great night!!
You got it B. It always fulfills me when I can help animals and humans …and when I see the results, I‘m sometimes really amazed! Thank you for the condolences, so thoughtful of you. I felt some Ruby vibes too. I always love your comments Barbara, you are such a good friend, thank you. Dr. Doug.
Dr. Doug, you were so gentle when you adjusted Lily ❤ I laughed at the expression in her eyes when you first started pulling on her tail - it looked like she was giving you the side eye! I hope her treatment helps her move more comfortably because her mommy really loves and needs her🌹
The Dr. really knows how to bond with his animals first, gaining their trust easily and permission to do a treatment. They respond so lovingly and he explains his impressions well to the parent. Enjoy Animal Cracker very much!😊
Well I always try my best to help, if you don’t try to bond, the session can be more difficult and sometimes it can scare the animal. Thanks for sharing Mark, I appreciate it.
Dr. Doug, you are wonderful with your patient. You can immediately see how much better Lily felt when you were done. I love pitties and it was wonderful to see how special they are.
I absolutely love how he's constantly dropping knowledge and explaining everything in detail. I could watch this for hours. I saw someone else post about him needing his own tv show and I totally agree, I hope some execs somewhere see these comments!
Beautiful Lily just had an excellent adjustment and massage! I'm sure glad that her Mom noticed that something was 'off' and took her to Dr. Doug for help!! Thanks, Doc, for your expertise and compassion for all in the animal kingdom! Blessings all around!!
Lily knew you were there to help her. It looked like she was leaning in to you. And afterwords she ran right to you all happy and wiggling. Nice Job. Well done. Love seing her get relief
Aww what a sweet girl, Lilly. Thanks to Lilly mama for adopting her. My daughter has a mixed pittie and I get to keep him when she is out of town. He is the best cuddle buddy ever ❤. Thanks Dr Doug for all you do.
What an adorableLily! It looks like she has eyebrows and makes her expressions so much more vivid! Service dogs are so special, and I'm so happy to see her mom taking such good care and concern. Lily appears to have a crush on you with all her kisses! Those stretches with her back legs make her look so graceful. Another kind and gentle job well done! Thank you so much for sharing your patients and their parents' stories. 🐕❤
Lily has such wonderful eyes and is such a loving dog. Her mom does a great Job. Maybe she had a crush on me …haha! With all those kisses. Thanks Katharine.
Loved the story of Lilly’s visit. Sometimes she looks so chilled with the massage, even for a fidgety dog. How she keeps going backwards and forwards between the Doc & her Mom once she’s off leash.
Dog was loving every minute of it! Animals know when you're there to help. What a little darling Lily is! Great owner, you can tell how much she truly loves her dog and her dog loves her!

Lily is SO GOSH DARN SWEET and her EARS!! I just LOVE IT!! She makes me miss my baby girl so much (a female fawn boxer). I lost her way back in 2011 due to cancer. There STILL isn't a day that passes by that I do NOT think about her.
Lily is lovely ! what a gorgeous dog . Love the way she kept wagging her tail when you started the treatment ! She looked like she just knew whatever you were doing that it was going to help her ! Great video Dr Doug !

One way to sort out the noise issues is to apply a low pass filter in post production, take out anything below 80hz, depending on the mic you have it may have a button called pad that does this while live, or maybe on the mixer. The noise is something called the proximity effect the closer you are to the mic the louder and lower the sound gets, filters can reduce it but it is of course best managed when recording but as we know that is not always possible but can be fixed or at least minimized at the editing stage.
