I was going to leave the same comment. There is another TH-camr who gets a lot of slack over how much she spends and I see no need for comments like that, we all have different budgets and you can already tell Deborah is frugal.
Hi Deborah I love watching you create. I think it's cool how you swap things out but even if you kept your stuff I would like that too. Liz at Traditions by the Seasons keeps all her stuff and she actually calls it her store. She has a space that she stores it all and shops it when she wants a change. I hated to see the fireplace go but I get it. I loved when you did the Fall decor in that room . It was spectacular but that is my favorite time of year. Looking forward to seeing what new pieces you get. Hugs , Pam ❤....oh and Maxine was a joy to see too. Beautiful cat❤️
Deborah your amazing you do you my friend you never justify what you spend to us we jus love your fun hauls like today and paint tutorials etc ❤🙋🏻♀️🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Please don't apologize to someone who doesn't walk in your shoes. TH-cam doesn't show us the viewer's the real person or whole story. People are too quick to judge. I love your videos, and I learn from them. Stay true to yourself beautiful lady & don't pay no mind to the busy bodies that don't have a life. ❤❤❤ from East Tennessee
HELLO BEAUTIFUL DEBORAH, BEEN A WHILE SINCE I CAME OVER. YOUR DIY TURNED OUT BEAUTIFULLY LOVE COLOR ON TABLE. GREAT SHOPPING HAUL WALL SHELF GREAT FINE. TFS HAVE BLESS WEEK PAT XOXO 🙏 🥰 💐 ❤️ LOTS OF HUGS
I wish I lived closer to you-that coffee table would look great in our living room! It’s beautiful. I’m amazed at your painting techniques. You are an expert, even if you don’t realize it! Very talented!❤
There you go…doing that patina paint mixing that you do SO WELL! The depth of color is amazing!! Whether it goes or stays you need to be thankful for your gift, Deborah! Not everyone has the gift to layer paint and patinas like you do! I can’t wait to see how you put all these wonderful pieces together and decorate! The anticipation is killing me!!❤️
Loved when Maxi observes and is nearby. I also love the wall mounts metal frames and table stands. They can accent any space.❤the accent painting technique.
I will be watching to see how you make these items yours. You amaze me how you have such vision for pieces you find in thrift or antique stores. Love your work.
Wow Deborah. You sure put alot of work into that table. I love how it looks. You are so talented with your redos. Always enjoy seeing your hauls. At 73, I have to start purging, but I still thrift for French like themed items or garden items. Its fun to use things in a different way . Thanks for sharing your talents and ideas.
the coffee table looks beautiful. I'm sure your cats will find the large baskets soon and make a nest. silver serving pieces are wonderful to put nuts or candy in when people come to visit for a little treat. thank you so much for sharing your newest treasures.
The coffee table is gorgeous. The detail is beautiful. To each their own, but replacing that beautiful piece for a glass one, just isn’t right haha! I collect baskets too for my garden harvesting. I put up a pot rack to hold them.
Your frugality has not gone unnoticed. I have admired you for it, and am amazed by what you manage to do with your purchases. You are so gifted in the decorating and artistic areas. Blessings.
Oooohhhhhh, loved this visit!💯 Fun to see all your finds and I always enjoy watching you paint! I'm really looking forward to what you discover for the ideal coffee table in the living room; you just know how to make everything work together so beautifully☺. Love the column you found for such a good deal, as well as the baskets and decor pieces. Like you, I enjoy silver pieces, although I've been delinquent in keeping ours polished as we prefer! I did chuckle when you mentioned your envelope of cash for thrifting/consigning purchases. Not that it's our business, but that's exactly what I've always done, too! It has been like a game, to be up or down in the buy and sell process of furnishing our home! Fun!!! As always, loved every minute and looking forward to our next visit!🤗🤗🤗❤
Hi Susan! That cash envelope is empty, so I need to start selling to full it back up! 😂 It's all too fun. I think I need to be more intentional, but I see the potential in everything. 🤷♀️ I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week. 🙂 We have more storms until Saturday. Xoxoxo
You find nice bargains! Love how the table turned out. I thought it looked pretty before, but you did a great job on it, and it turned out lovely! We are getting rain here in KY all this week too. Everything is soggy! It's nobody's business how you spend your money! We do what we do and to each their own! I love the column you got. I would love to have a couple of those but the ones I have found are very pricy! We have an antique mall here and it's huge. I went into it only once (always worked and never had time before), and found so many things to love in there! I didn't even go upstairs to see what was up there. I plan to go back soon for another look around. I did buy some small vintage linens and vintage post cards and things like that I like. I do love your idea of having a plant and lighting it up from below. That gives off a cozy vibe I think!! Always enjoy your videos!
Thank you, Donna! I need to find some floating devices at the thrift store if it doesn't stop raining over here... 😆 I often go shopping and see things that I know you would like, or Lisa @CrepeMyrtleRow or Kim @MyFeatheredNest... don't be surprised if one day you get a surprise box in the mail. 😘 Xoxoxo
Hey. You have beautiful things and do wonderful paint techniques on your items. Don't ever allow others to dictate to you what you need in your home. You know best as to what you love!
The coffee table turned out amazing! I love how you mix colors and patinas. I just love those baskets you got. And at awesome prices! That column is so pretty. Gosh you sure did get a lot of wonderful pieces for great prices. Can't wait for your next vid, as always!
When I watch you paint it makes me want to paint everything!😂 You are so talented and can make anything gorgeous! Wow! Amazing! Never apologize or listen to anyone who questions you about your spending! I change things out a lot as it makes me happy and you do not owe anyone an explanation! Love what you do and it makes me happy watching you!🥵🥰😍
I would love to be able to paint like you do. You have a special touch with a brush. When I paint, it drips from the brush, and I have paint all over me. I guess I need to learn not to dip my brush so far in the paint can.
I got 2 of those columns from hobby lobby, and I have no idea what to use on them to give them a weathered look. I'd love to see a video of what you do with yours.
I have a dining room table with legs very similar to yours. I'm intimidated to paint it but i know i want too. I really enjoyed watching you paint yours. It has inspired me to try it soon. Thank you! I love your hauls.❤❤❤
I would absolutely Go For It! Just keep going until you love it. 😉 I am going to order some new products to try for some of my interest pieces. I'll share asap! Xoxoxo
Your silver pieces look like Reed and Barton and Roger's sterling or silver plate. Both excellent companies. I had lots of Roger's sterling from my wedding 56 years ago.....LOL I have had them awhile. ;-) I love silver and I like to keep it polished as best I can. Usually I clean them and then I wrap them tightly and taunt with clear saran wrap. They stay bright and shiny loger. I know some like them to tarnish and use them that way. All your items are wonderful and amazing. I can't believe how many things and what you are attracted to much like my taste. Kindred spirits as it were. Your items are marvelous and your redo's are perfectly beautiful. You have an eye for what is upscale and unique and I absolutely love it all. Such a talent! I am sure you could style anything and sell it for a wonderful profit. Just wanted to stop in and ck what you have to share. Loved the video and I love that you can use it keep it, update, or sell it to keep your items in the loop for others to enjoy as well. Wonderful way to do it all! Blessings
Thank you so much! What do like to use to polish your silver? I like it both polished and tarnished. I had some excellent cleaner before moved, but I forgot the name of it. We left all our supplies like that for the next homeowners. They said leave anything you don't want. Lol. I hope you have a great weekend! I think we are getting a break from all the rain Saturday and Sunday. Xoxoxo
I use Wrights furniture cream or polish. I've used Tarnix and another product that works well but the fumes are so strong it makes me cough and I also feel it takes the shine off the silver and it cleans maybe too well more to the almost destruction of the beauty. So I trust Wrights for 56 years. If you have a really darkend piece it may take a while but I use it as therapy and "think" about life and decorating while I use it. It keeps just enough dark patina to make it feel rich and tells a story. That may sound silly, but you probably understand. Bright and shiny looks new which is also lovely especially when serving food. I always lay a paper doily on them for serving cookies, fudge and snack types of things. I avoid anything acidic to serve in the pieces. I often will take a soft bristle toothbrush to get in nooks and crannies with the wrights polish as well, rinse with warm water and immediately dry it with a absorbent cotton towel (I use old ones--the newness is worn and down to the absorbing part of the fabric). And no, I am not sponsored by Wright's Silver Polish.........HA HA HA HA, sorry I couldn't resist! I told you about the saran wrap I believe. It really helps hold back the tarnish and then about once a year I remove it and just do a short go over with the polish and use it to serve or to display. Hope that helps.......sorry for the book, but trying to think of all the hints and tricks. LOL Good luck and I love love love your hauls and selections of everything! Blessings and enjoy that new home........it's beautiful!
Hi Deborah your coffee table looks amazing. Loved it when you started to add that black paint, it just made a lot of difference. I do love watching you paint. Those baskets will be very handy, l love using baskets. That little table at the end was very cute l could imagine that with a plant on it. Thanks Deborah looking forward to your next video. ❤❤
So much time/effort put into the coffee table and you might rethink about selling it. It turned out really nice and perhaps you can use in another room against a wall by a window with plants. It may look divine in your living room too once you are finished decorating it. Love Maxine..she is so talented.
Thank you! Yes, Maxine is the real talent in this household and we all know it! 🙂 I like your idea of putting the table in front of the window for plants. Our windows are low to the floor, so the plants would get plenty of light in the Den or Bonus room. Great idea! Xoxoxo
I love up lights. I have a corner TV cabinet and i placed an up light behind it. Its a nice bit of lighting without being overwhelming. I so enjoy watching you paint. The end product is always a delight. Your light colored basket you asked about its purpose. Its an egg basket. Used for collecting eggs from a chicken nesting box. Or wherever they have laid their eggs 😂.
Me too! I'm glad I found those 2 lights for such a low price. Egg basket! I guess we needs some chickens and a coop now. I mean, I have the basket, so... 😂 Actually, my neighbor has chickens and they gave us a dozen one time. They were really good. Better than store bought. The yolks were brg and orange. 😋 Have a great weekend! Xoxoxo 🌸
As a fan, I would like to congratulate you on your lovely work. The orangey patterned sofa is clashing with current decor. However, the blue sofa is a gorgeous addition to the room
Great deal on those gorgeous baskets Deborah! So many beautiful pieces. Too bad the coffee table won’t work for you. Your paint job looked sooooo nice. Blessings! 💕🙏
Wow ! I have a few pieces with lots of detail. A small round table and a plant stand that was my dad's. I'm going to try to paint them in your style of layering. Wish me luck 😊
@kelly Good luck ! My mom was very talented, like Deborah, at blending & layering paint, so I pretty much learned from her, but when I was first trying to do it on my own, I would go to thrift stores and buy cheap things like frames or other things that had detail and practice - we used to just use acrylic craft paint & I still pretty much do that on decor items - there were no chalk paints back when my mom first starting painting or if there was, we certainly didn’t know about it ! Wish we could see how your projects turn out !
You always amaze me with you project. Did you ever think about adding some dark splatter paint? But nonetheless, your projects are always inspiring and a joy to watch.
Good haul Deborah. I have a pillar like yours only bigger. It's heavier than a ** it was an old boyfriend's. He left and I kept the pillar. Hahaha. (Better trade off)
It is nobody’s business! They don’t make your money or pay your bills. Besides, it is your job. How boring would it be to watch a decorating channel if they didn’t buy new things or change out the decor? It just boils down to people being jealous, because why would they even care how someone else spends their money or what they buy? Love your videos ❤.
Oh, I just wanted to explain how I shop and that I am selling things so I don't become a hoarder. Lol! I used to watch TH-cam before I started my channel and think "Wow, how much money are they spending every week?" 😂
Love the coffee table it is beautiful do you ever go to Bluffton SC or Hilton Head SC I just love going over there I found some beautiful pieces over there I live in Georgia but I rather live in south Carolina or north Carolina I been to Greenville SC I found some good stuff there too I just like the country parts of south Carolina thank you for sharing I would love to meet you in person you have a beautiful personality 😊
I love Gerorgia! I used to go to Lavonia and Commerce all the time. I'm further away, now. I love the country of the Carolinas. We feel so blessed to live where we do. I'm hoping it doesn't grow too fast. We enjoy the slow paced living. 🥰 I will have to make a road trip to HH and Bluffton! I bet they have higher end finds. Have a beautiful weekend and happy thrifting! Xoxoxo 🌸
I'm tickled with them! I saw some for sale in Lenoir, North Carolina at a Habitat for Humanity Restore. A TH-camr was doing a tour and they had 2 that were power motion!
You do not have to explain to anyone (maybe other than Hubby) how, when, on what/if you spend or get your money. It's YOUR money and I love to see the things find, buy, re-do, etc.
Why apologize for what you spend ,I'm not jealous of things like that ,I grew up with nothing and I am happy for people that have more you earned it they don't have to watch if it upsets them ❤️
Have you done a video on how to sell on marketplace? I need to sell some things but I’m very leery and I don’t know how it works. I don’t want to meet someone just to have them say oh I don’t want it or I don’t like it, and I have to start all over again.
I live in a log home where all 4 of my living room walls are log. Hmmm, is there any such thing as to much wood? lol, YES! I am sick of looking at wood walls. :-)
😂 That would be fun, except the bugs would be like dinosaurs. Lol. When I was a child, I always wanted to have a village of little Smurfs or 🧚♂️ 🧚♀️. ☺️ Xoxoxo
Oh! BTW,I certainly didn’t mean to imply that you would shrink down so small that bugs would be like dinosaurs! No,perhaps you could miniaturize down to about 6 inches, you would be such a delight😊😊🥰
The coffee table is gorgeous but the room is looking way to crowded with a coffee table to me. I think I’d skip a coffee table all together. How about just a sofa table??
There is definitely a lot going on. It feels off. I'm working on it. Lol! By the next video, I should have it all pulled together, at least for the Summer Season. 😉💙 Xoxoxo
Isn't that the worst! I bought one recently off MP and the guy delivered it for an extra fee. It was not as described. I donated it and took the loss. I'm glad you had not paid for it. Whew! Xoxoxo
You don’t need to justify how much you spend or buy. That is nobody’s business except yours and your husband’s. I love your decorating style.!
I was going to leave the same comment. There is another TH-camr who gets a lot of slack over how much she spends and I see no need for comments like that, we all have different budgets and you can already tell Deborah is frugal.

Wow. Great pieces. You put so much time into that table!
I always enjoy seeing your paint technique you do a beautiful job on furniture. ❤

OMG wish you lived closer!! I have things that need work!!! Lol..always great seeing a video from you!!

Xoxoxo

Sounds like 2 awesome projects ready for some paint love! Best wishes! They'll be great! Xoxoxo
I have the flickering flame lights but they are larger. They have lasted longer than 5 years but were 19 dollars
You always amaze me with you project. Did you ever think about adding some dark splatter paint? But nonetheless, your projects are always inspiring and a joy to watch.
I couldn’t find you Facebook marketplace….would love to see what you have. That coffee table is gorgeous.
Good haul Deborah. I have a pillar like yours only bigger. It's heavier than a ** it was an old boyfriend's. He left and I kept the pillar. Hahaha. (Better trade off)
As always beautiful! I am not sure where you are in SC. We’re in SC as well and live about an hour from Myrtle Beach.
Your make up is lovely and neat
Great video
It is nobody’s business! They don’t make your money or pay your bills. Besides, it is your job. How boring would it be to watch a decorating channel if they didn’t buy new things or change out the decor? It just boils down to people being jealous, because why would they even care how someone else spends their money or what they buy? Love your videos ❤.
That coffee table looks beautiful! Will you e er do a house tour?
I think I would have removed the bottom shelf on the coffee table so it would lighten the look a bit.
I hope people aren’t giving you a hard time about what you buy! It’s no one’s business! Keep being fabulous!
Oh, I just wanted to explain how I shop and that I am selling things so I don't become a hoarder. Lol! I used to watch TH-cam before I started my channel and think "Wow, how much money are they spending every week?" 😂
❤
Xoxoxo 🌸
I've never had wax pull off gel stain. That's weird.

Want to steal ur studded leather chairs....love.....love.....love !
THAT’S IT, IM COMING TO PICK YOU UP AND WE CAN THRFIT TOGETHER!!! I love your vision. PS I will pack the crackers. Can’t wait to see more videos.
Several of those look like older easter.baskets.
Those leaf dishes may have been part of a lazy Susan set.
Why do you feel that you have to apologize for your purchases? We love your style no matter how much you pay or don’t pay. Tfs cheers
You’re amazing and I love your fat cat
Thank you! I love Maxine, too. She needs a tiny treadmill, but at her age, she's just embracing the extra weight and excess sleep. 😉
A sweet silly fantasy to share with you:
I imagine you shrinking down to doll-size!
It’s the only possible way for you to be cuter🥰😂
😂 That would be fun, except the bugs would be like dinosaurs. Lol. When I was a child, I always wanted to have a village of little Smurfs or 🧚♂️ 🧚♀️. ☺️ Xoxoxo
You would be the most amazing Smurfette ever!
Just don’t turn that blue color😂
Oh! BTW,I certainly didn’t mean to imply that you would shrink down so small that bugs would be like dinosaurs!
No,perhaps you could miniaturize down to about 6 inches, you would be such a delight😊😊🥰
🥰❤️✅
Another interesting video, Devorah. I am anxiously awaiting how your home is going to look qhwn ir ia LL XOMPLWRWS ns vwURIDUL!! xo
😉💙 Xoxoxo
I traveled over an hour to pick up an item on Facebook marketplace. But, when I got there, the sofa was a piece of trash.
Isn't that the worst! I bought one recently off MP and the guy delivered it for an extra fee. It was not as described. I donated it and took the loss. I'm glad you had not paid for it. Whew! Xoxoxo
