jhope literally leave me speechless every time. There is no jhope performance without impact .. you are either crying , banging ur head crazily, screaming , blushing , dancing or even smiling wildly all while being amazed by him.
I have so much respect for this man whom I'm 150% sure no one is even close to being as talented as him.

Exactly that's how I feel Hobi conveying his emotion to us with his soul, voice and body.
Yes!! J-hope as a dancer, dance captain of BTS, THE Smile Hoya- has a very clear and _precise_ skill in dancing. There's no cracks within his flow. I can't see that in any other person. He really stands out, everyone says he has great body control but like he's more than great- he's godly accurate even in *freestyling.* And this performance is one for the books where J-hope is more emotionally expressive of... sadness. The hopelessness. I'd say he's just that much of a god of dance that even this performance is carefully crafted to look like he finally, for once, cracked, but knowing the backstory and weight of this track: J-hope's performance stage organizer and perfectionist side prolly didn't rehearsed the release of such soul-stricking emotions. It was all natural. It was freestyle. And that shows how great he really is as a performer and a dancer. Being able to express himself visually, physically, and audibly all natural is an observation everyone should be aware of.
He's truly a captivating man more than sunshines and smiles.

Thank you for putting the correct words out there! It is hard explain to people who don’t follow them how special they are. It goes way beyond their appearance and even their talents. They as a collective of people are making real change in the world and in the people around them. I feel fortunate to be able to experience first hand. They wrote this song when they were considered about disbanding so they portrayed their emotions of anger sadness and frustration in this song when RM saying tear it means anger or like crying when suga says tear you can hear the difference in pronounciation it means like tearing apart and jhope is talking about fear. When i came to know they wrote this song after considering disbanding during their struggling time it really made me very sad and the lyrics meant even more to me personally 💜💜
Awhile ago, this song and this performance meant a lot to me. It always had. I thought it was a beautiful song about parting with someone you love.
And then I actually experienced that parting for the first time in my life. I hadn't realized how sheltered I was. Suddenly, all of the emotions in this song were so much more real to me. Especially Suga's line about destroying his heart so there's no feelings of regret left. I had cut off a group of friends and it hurt a lot. I was super close with them and we had gotten in a large fight about stupid things. We made up, of course. But I remember the night after we had made up I couldn't quite quell my anxiety. I felt like I needed to get away and leave. So I took that as a sign and I did. Months later, still hurts but it's starting to fade away. That specific night, I just wanted to get rid of every painful feeling in that moment so I didn't have to feel it anymore.

They way they must have felt those days!! They always express how they miss and need each other. Jhope light up when Jimin went to see him on Chicago. As he said on the VLIVE: I was on the dark and Jimin became my light when he arrived. They feel that for each other. All of them.

Each and every time I watch this performance I cry for them, it had to be a traumatic period they went through and it still haunted them... Besides, this song represents one of the main steps on my path towards my healing after the end of my marriage. It's somehow cathartic

Was forced to serve Military duty. Back then. Once he came back? His success/fandom/ love quadrupled. As is expected to happen in 2025 once all of BTS are out and reunited. 💜💜💜 Edit. N9 wonder you saw RAGE/sadness ETC in their lyrics. Would YOU like to be FORCED to serve your Country by doing two mandatory yrs of Military service?
