You have great videos. I live in Pataskala and have fished Buckeye for probably 45 yrs but not for a long time. We have a place at Indian lake now and spend the summer there. I will have to try the saugeye at Buckeye after watching you. Thanks for all you hard work. Craig Otto

How are you tying a Paramore knot on that bait without wasting a foot of line.

Only make you loop big enough to slip your bait through. Then spit lube your line and pull the main slowly first before you pull your tag end tight. If you leave that first over hand knot a little sloppy then pulling mainline first will have much less friction. I can do a video on it tomorrow if you’d like.
Thanks for watching by the way! I really appreciate it

What line and lb test on your baitcasters?

I run pure fluorocarbon only. I don’t like the fluoro coated line, I think it’s too stiff and I just don’t like it lol. I prefer 15lb test, I use that weight line for everything.

@@thecheesychesters2134 by the winery is good from a boat. Focus on rocky areas. Canals this time of year as the shad are fading can be crucial zones too. Patience is probably the second most important part. This isn’t bass fishing, these fish don’t bed or wait on logs or in cover, they actively hunt, you cast in the same place 50 times and it’ll be cast 51. Fan casting is very important. I’ll be doing a video going more in depth on it here soon I think. It’s a lot to unpack
