As far as I can see, at least four members of the Airwolf tesm are left: Michele Scarabelli, Barry Van Dyke, Geraint Wyn Davies and Anthony Sherwood. Barry Van Dyke, Geraint Wyn Davies and Anthony Sherwood did a great job from Season 4 on, too. It was most probably also a very good decision to replace Jan-Michael Vincent at that point.

He wrote so many shows that were all along the same ethos, no one swore, no one got killed and only got shot. 80s shot aswell lol. The best thing about 80's action series was no CGI. Why don't we see stuff like this anymore. I really miss my childhood and watching these shows. Just being blown away from cool action scenes.

Loved this as a kid, theme song still gives me goosebumps hearing it. The amount of excitement of seeing the Lady getting ready to do work made me feel like I was gonna explode.
One of the best things they did in series 3, at the end of every episode, as the end credits rolled, was to play the theme to Airwolf, with shots of The Lady just flying along over assorted landscapes . They'd cut to shots of String and Dom, busy in the cabin, just flying her, doing their thing. They varied the clips for each end credits, but just stuck to same general idea. The Lady flying along at cruising speed, with String and Dom at the controls. It was like a gift to true fans. A tribute to Airwolf and it's crew which I always appreciated. It was the icing on the cake at the end of every episode. I'd sit there thumping my foot in time to the Airwolf theme tune, enjoying the various shots of The Lady and her crew quietly working in earnest concentration. The producers understood who were the stars of the show. Airwolf, JMV and EB. Yes, the helicopter WAS the main star of the show. The end credits of series 3 literally mesmerises me till this day, and I consider them to be a mini masterpiece, every single one of those thoughtfully put together end credits. RIP String, Dom and The Lady. Fly high in that great yonder blue!
Just wow! I remembered how when playing with my airworlf model toy I always tried to emulate those free roam movements at the rhythm of the music. The way you put it into words it drew a huge smile in my face bringing me to a very happy place. Thanks a lot!!

Wow I still remember the first episode aired on 1984. Cold war was stressful at that time, and a big poster of the pilot episode came out in a newspaper. As a child, I was so excited to watch this episode, even my parents thought I was too young to understand the plot or explicit violence. However, I didn't care and watched it with no problem. Amazing times on those 80s Friday Nights.

I enjoyed watching Airwolf in England back in the 80's. I cannot remember what day of the week it aired -so long ago. I will have to google and see if i can find out. The series had great music theme -iconic and the style of the show was great. I used to have the theme tune on my mobile phone and when it rang people would turn round and say - oh that takes me back.
I see alot of people commenting abouy how Airwolf was their childhood. There's nothing wrong with that. But it's better to keep the show alive and love it all ur life. Same is true for all of the cast. Keep them alive by enjoying their work.

@@ZATennisFan I read somewhere that the Bell 222 was actually modelled on a Shark. Since its supposed to be the most Aerodynamic shape. Sharks use little energy to move through water.

I enjoyed watching Airwolf in England back in the 80's. I cannot remember what day of the week it aired -so long ago. I will have to google and see if i can find out. The series had great music theme -iconic and the style of the show was great. I used to have the theme tune on my mobile phone and when it rang people would turn round and say - oh that takes me back.

I see alot of people commenting abouy how Airwolf was their childhood. There's nothing wrong with that. But it's better to keep the show alive and love it all ur life. Same is true for all of the cast. Keep them alive by enjoying their work.
