Are the branches of Elk Horn Creek suitable for trout stocking? I live near Frankfort and fly fish the Elk Horn from the forks to the Kentucky River. Great smallmouth fishing! I've never caught any of the trout species though!
you are showing people fishing with wrong equipment....lol.....show people how to properly use the tenkara concept......fished flyrod for years with flyline...I seldom use a flyrod anymore......either use 50-60 pound mono or similar in place of flyline or go completely tenkara.....anyway don't lay your line on the water......just trying to help people enjoy this opportunity
recruit a true tenkara teacher to show people how to fish creeks.... I am positive they will do it for free.... meanwhile, there are plenty of tenkara vids on youtube
These projects are so cool, thanks for sharing!
Any updates on the success?
How are the trout here doing? You guys have any updates?
I was on that trail yesterday and saw a group bringing in the bagged fish to put in the creek.
Hi guys that's great I love that, fishing for trout is great, good job. 👍
Great story!
It would be nice if you gave some recent updates...

I believe it gets too warm during the summer.
Were the fish native the stream? And is natural reproduction going on? Or is that why you're stocking fish.
So how did the study go?
Any updates on this?
I catch them in Bell County now
