    The Spare Air 300 Package is a self contained, refillable cylinder designed as a total redundant back up miniature scuba system. Small, hands-free and nearly neutrally buoyant.
    In Case of Emergency, Spare Air provides a completley independant air supply to safely get you or your buddy back to the surface.
    Deluxe Holster keeps your Spare Air close-to-hand in case of an out of air emergency. leash and A-Clamp refill adaptor.
    Neon Yellow Tank finish for safety and enhanced visability in poor conditions.
    Built-In Breathe on Demand regulator with no complicated instructions allows for quick and easy access to the redundant air supply in stressful conditions.
    Quicker and Easier than buddy breathing or an octopus as the out of air diver has their own independant air supply without the need for any hoses that can become entangled.

    one of the best inventions ever. for anyone who has a yacht or boat with cabin, keep one next to your bed in case of rapid sinking.

      This is some of the best advice that I've ever read for mariners!
      Not only keeping one next to your bed whilst sleeping, but keeping your Ditch Bag next to the bed also.
      The sailor Steve Callahan awoke to find his yacht cabin rapidly filling with water and he barely had enough time to grab his Ditch Bag from next to his bed and escspe his sinking yacht.
      He suspected that his yacht had been struck by a whale and he then spent the next 76 days adrift in his emergency liferaft before being rescued.
      Had he not immediately escaped with his Ditch Bag he would still be with his yacht on the seabed!
      Spare Air tanks have saved the lived of thousands of people including divers, kayakers and helicopter crews in marine incidents, and the knowledge that you have an immediate oxygen supply can also quash rising panic and fear!
      When a single intake of breath is all it may take to survive an underwater emergency, having considerably more than that is an absolute godsend!

      When you stop hearing air flow. Since the fill adapter is not regulated, both tanks will equalize to the same pressure pretty quickly.

      There is a little plastic white pin that pops out of a brass button to show when the tank is loaded.

    • @AquaTech225
      @AquaTech225 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A bike pump won’t do it. Don’t listen to that dude he’s trippin. They aren’t nearly rated for such high pressures even if u could get or put together an adapter to fill it that way.
      Though their are some high pressure bike like pumps u can fill it with in that manor pumping by hand. I’m not sure yould ever actually reach the 3,000psi and if you can get it up that high you’ll be pumping your ass off. And really the pumps should have driers inline somewhere like the pumps to dry the air your putting into it.
      Best thing to do is get yourself a everyday run of the mill scuba tank the full size with one just some cheap tank. They will or may stick a sticker on it that says not for diving. But that’s only to put on there so other places won’t fill it without scuba credentials. But will fill it since it’s not being dived with. And fill your SpareAir tank off of that.
      Least that’s how it went for me. But I don’t dive with it like you would think. I have a pool leak detection company an it’s just used for 4-6foot to go down an unscrew drains ect an put back on and what not. I wouldn’t personally go deeper than that not being certified. I’m sure it don’t take much to f**k yourself up not knowing the ends an outs.
      Even than I still make sure I breathe the whole time an let it out coming up.
      And it may not even make a difference an 4-6 foot but shy chance something so easy to do

    • @felixcat9318
      @felixcat9318 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, there's about three minutes of oxygen, as proved by an underwater swimmer on TH-cam that managed to swim for 100 meteres before surfacing.
      Clearly, less physical exertion may extend one's time, but three minutes would hopefully allow one to safely escape a sinking vessel or helicopter, and knowing that one has an immediate oxygen supply will probably keep an individual from panicking and lessen their fear too.
      Even if it was just three breaths, provided that enabled a successful self rescue why would that be a problem?

    • @JohnB3000

      I start heading up at 500 psi for safety precautions. I think its bad to risk it. Also don't regulators not give enough air at 225 psi? I think you would notice getting less air per breath.

    • @GWACB
      @GWACB 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Robbie McGill see this is perfect for me. I'm a pilot and do lots of water crossings.... if I ever end up in the drink, whilst I've done ditching and evacuation training, something like this just buys more time to orientate myself, and then escape. So maybe it's intended purpose for divers is not ideal, but don't just junk the idea totally.

    • @davidmurphy4672
      @davidmurphy4672 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It could just give you 60 seconds of air if you fly through the window of the airplane underwater to 30 ft probably if your alive. Oh yea your lungs can pop if you stop using it under water or if it runs out while surfacing you could be really fucked.

    • @GWACB
      @GWACB 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      good to know ! Most likely scenario is that the aircraft ends up, upside down - it takes a while to sink, unless you've really messed up the water landing! That said - an extra 60 seconds from less than 10 feet under, i'll take as a risk mitigation - not elimination.
      I'm not a diver - so forgive my lack of appreciation of underwater pressure etc - based on your experience - and my specific scenario highlighted, is there anything you would recommend as a better, safer fit?
