Hello Wendy. Your channel was recommended to me by a very kind Goan woman who visited recently.. I have tasted Bebinca a number of times now, always thanks to that generous soul. It's very exciting to have your recipe and to see you work through each step of creating this absolutely scrumptious food. Thank you, and many blessings to you 🙏
Ty, so much for this recipe. I am from Kerala and from the Anglo Indian community, my mom used to make this for Christmas. This brings back nostalgia. I do not have her recipe, I appreciate you posting the recipe.❤
Hi Wendy. You sure have done your dearest Grandma proud, with her Goan Bebinca recipe. Thank you for sharing the family recipe. It looks so delicious. Blessings.
I’m so glad Erlean that your mum shared my recipe with you and you made it. I’m so happy you loved the texture and taste of the Bebinca. Thanks so much for your comment ♥️
Thanks for posting this recipe. My children this year are very keen on making Goan sweets! Going to attempt it this year. I too want to make the same expressions of delight when I take my first bite!! 😂
Thanks Gwyneth🥰 I’m so happy that you enjoyed my video and it brought back fond memories. Hope you make this Bebinca, I’m sure you are going to enjoy it.
Oh Wendy, I was hoping you would make a your Bebinca video soon😀 as I love the details your provide in your videos. Thank you! I have a question though. How long approx do you broil the individual layers in the oven? Thanks. You are tempting me to try it 😀
Juliet, I’m so happy that you are enjoying my videos . I broiled each layer for approximately 3-5minutes till the layer was cooked snd got a little colour on the top. You’ve got to keep a close eye on it while broiling to avoid it from burning. Hope you make it, it’s so satisfying♥️
Hi Monty, If you wanted, you could swap the almond flour in the recipe with cashew nut flour for a cashew nut marzipan. However, if you prefer a cooked marzipan, I have attached the link to my my video where I have shown how to make cooked marzipan with cashew th-cam.com/video/BelKtga3EKE/w-d-xo.html . Hope that helps. Enjoy!
