Moss poles are a great way to add extra interest to your plants, and this video will show you how to make them using simple supplies you probably already have at home. If you're looking for a way to jazz up your plants without draining your bank account, then this is the tutorial for you!
You need PVC net, PVC sheet, zip ties and a plastic pot with holes.
1. Cut net and sheet to appropriate height
2. Punch holes in the PVC sheet
3. Using zip ties, tie net with sheet and the pole with the pot.
Moss poles support the growth of your plants, train their growth habit, and, for those vines with adventitious roots, provide extra micronutrients to your plants. Plus, for some plants including many aroids, the contact between aerial roots and the moss pole can trigger the development of larger, more mature leaves.
