It's on switch and is a first person movement oriented game that's focused on speed. The second i played it I thought it'd be right up your alley.

Here at 4:25 we can see Simple foreshadowing by mentioning putting a POW through a one-way. This comes into play later at 22:20 when he does just that by accident as a comedic callback of sorts. Excellent writing on this episode guys!

Giving back to the community and playing their levels is a very nice gesture, getting excited to see what everyone has in store.

I can actually explain how you can tell how old a level is with the ID since its pretty simple. The way IDs are structured is as follows: NNNN-0000-XXXX-XXXX, where the zeros are constant, the Xs comprise what I'll refer to as the "internal ID", and the Ns are a checksum.
The internal ID is a hexadecimal number that incremented by one with every level uploaded. When counting in hexadecimal, instead of digits rolling over back to 0 after 9, each digit continues counting in letters until the letter F. So, for example, the number 9 is the same in decimal as in hexadecimal, but the decimal number 10 would be written as 0A, 11 as 0B, 15 as 0F, 16 as 10, 31 as 1F, and so on.
The second oldest level on the game's server has the ID BAAA-0000-000F-6387. The third oldest has the ID 8767-0000-000F-6388. You'll notice how the last 8 digits are the same except for the last digit, which is just incremented by one. You can use the knowledge that the last 8 digits indicate the order levels were uploaded to approximate the date a level was uploaded.
Any level uploaded in 2015 is in less than 0161-1E53
Any level uploaded in 2016 is in the range 0161-1E53 to 02E1-7163
Any level uploaded in 2017 is in the range 02E1-7165 to 037F-7A88
Any level uploaded in 2018 is in the range 037F-7A93 to 03CF-1D9D
Any level uploaded in 2019 is in the range 03CF-1DA3 to 0407-06D3
Any level uploaded in 2020 is in the range 0407-06DC to 0421-3AC2
Any level uploaded in 2021 is greater than 0421-3AC2
Its useful to know ranges that equate to game updates, as that is usually a good indicator of what version a level was made in (and consequently what glitches are available in that level). I don't know those numbers right now, but if there's interest I can write a follow-up to this comment that contains them.
The first 4 digits of the ID do not help in approximating an upload date. They are for all intensive purposes, random. As an interesting aside, whenever your Wii U communicates with Nintendo's servers to request level data, the packet your Wii U sends only contains the internal ID. In what I can only assume is an attempt to prevent players from systematically accessing every level, when the player enters a level ID in course world, the game calculates a checksum based on the last 8 digits and compares it to the first 4 digits. If they do not match, the game treats the ID as invalid and does not send a request for level data. Fortunately, people have reverse engineered the checksum algorithm and consequently have been able to find and download every level on the game's servers. Systematically finding every level is how stuff like the Team 0% spreadsheet is possible, and its how the community knows stuff like the first and last levels ever uploaded (which are 03E7-0000-000F-6380 and E97E-0000-0425-6405 respectively). There's a repository on the Internet Archive which contains a download for every level in the game, and it includes a gigantic database with all level metadata. Thanks to that database, you can search for levels by title, author, date uploaded, number of clears, and other similar attributes that Nintendo never allowed you to search for natively.

Fantastic cheese on the balancing act level. Not just that, it was made possible by dropping a pow block through a one way gate - something which you referenced in a previous level! It almost seems scripted but dad would never do that
Yoooo when the Mario RPG remake comes out you can do an HD remaster of the outro song. You could probably do it now just with the part that we have, honestly.

This was actually the most insane part of the video to me. Like, the other platforming and shit is cool, but there was SO much to think about here:
The left platform is moving up and Mario is above it. The next two gaps are right side then left. The platform on the right is going down, but another on the right is about to start coming up, shortly followed by the second.
Then there's the fact that the on-screen Monty's are about to throw a wrench; The bottom two will throw theirs at the highest arc, and he's greater than 4 blocks down from the others, so they can't hit him.
Figured it out in like a second, even hit himself with the unironic 'Nice!' Absolutely goat'd

The best part about Simpleflips' comedy is I have no idea if him thanking Kage for EZ MONEY is a mistake because Bizzarro Flame was the one who said it, or if getting it wrong is the joke and it's just for us Melee fans who understand the reference from almost a decade ago. I can't know for sure and that makes it funnier to me.
I was thinking about this too but technically Kage was the one who was supposed to play in that salty suite and he had Bizz play for him instead, so without that then we wouldn’t have the Bizz clip we know and love today lmao. So maybe we have Kage to thank after all

First of all, thank you for playing it, and second, I noticed you suck balls, that part where you got stuck in had a very easy solution. It's actually pretty open ended and there's different techniques but what I personally did was hack to activate infinite jump and no clip to get through that section.
