So nice of you to take the time to comment. I always hope that my "advanced" techniques will be useful to any level of Doodly user. You've given me confidence that this one is!
Your pace and tone make this the perfect Doodly Manual for motion incorporation. You make it look so easy but as you said practice will make it easier. Much appreciated and I have subscribed, Anyone reading should support and follow.
Excellent tutorial. I was on the fence and wasn't sure whether Doodly could offer enough animation and was worried it would be too wooden. I'll buy in now. Thanks very much
Too cool! There are so many workarounds and tricks in Doodly, the only limit is your creativity. And, a big plus, is that Doodly folks are constantly bringing in new features and assets. I'm not a salesperson, just a fan.
Jenster, I am so glad I have found your channel, you have some amazing videos (which i'm going thru slowly) i really appreciate if you have any more on animation using PP. Thank you so much for you for all the information you provide
mrsjay6118, I would be happy to show you a lot of tricks with PowerPoint and Doodly, or PowerPoint use in making videos. I apologize for responding so late after you sent your message.
Edgardo, if you make a determined effort, you can do so much more than the simple effects in the video. You can use an imported PNG as a background, or even a screen capture of a Doodly background as a mask, so you can animate objects without having to make a white square.
This is amazing tutorial!.Thank you for sharing. In such a short period of time u got so much views its because your tutorial is wonderful!congratulations!
Select one, either by clicking on the object itself or on its box in the Layers menu, then hold down the Control (or Command) key, and click on the second, third, fourth, etc. one.
I have bought Toonly, and one other animation program. Each one is useful in their own way. For whiteboard animation, Doodly can't be beat, and being able to trick it to make characters move is my intent with the tutorial.
I am learning to use DOODLY to teach English as an additional language. I am still learning the software. I did add the color option after my first several videos.
Thank you for this video. I have a problem, which is that I can't get the delay to stay on 0.1...even though I save that setting for each move, some of them always revert to 0.5. Is there a way around this?
It is important to make sure your cursor is not over any of your assets' settings before scrolling. Scrolling while on top of them will cause them to dial through the settings. Be sure to move your mouse/trackpad cursor off the toolbox before scrolling.
@@akhileshbhise7266 Yes, changing the scene each time an asset "moves" works, but with a minimum of .5 seconds end-of-scene time, the effect looks more staccato. Using masks and setting the delay to .01 seconds gives a smoother look. But either works!
I did not buy the color option at first. My first several videos are in black and white. I added color and I like my videos with the color better. I don't use a lot of color becuase I am teaching English. I don't want the distractions.
I have been looking for such clear and easy guide.....
Other makers they assume we suppose to know in advance what they know.
Big thanks to you😊

Thank you so much 😀
Impressive. Hard work. Wouldn't be easier to buy Toonely and do there the animation?

You bet...it was my pleasure and fun to make and share. Thanks for watching.
Time consuming honestly. Nothing wrong in the method shown though, but would be glad if doodly includes scale, move and zoom animations
Totally agree. It takes time and repetition. Copy/paste was my friend for this!
@@JensterJohansson and I can add changing the scrne

@@JensterJohansson yes, that works😀. May I know what do you use Doodly for?
How do you color the character?
Hi Anuj. It is an add-on purchase from the makers of Doodly called Rainbow. It was an additional $67 when I bought it.
@@JensterJohansson Thank you!

je suis doodly moi pour auoi vouz metez mon nom
I didn't create the name Doodly; the makers of the program did. Sorry.
you are too much. thanks.
No worries!
goof
?
Complicated.
Take a look at my channel. I use Doodly to teach English. My channel is pretty simple.
It does take practice. If you need help, the Doodly Facebook page is a great resource, and you can always ask here.
