      Ah yes, for those na allergic sa egg and to show that you can still make simple bread out of very minimal ingredients. Egg helps with the shape and form of the bread but will not affect it's taste.

    Good day, Miss Mai pwede bang gumawa ko ng Roux or bread improver dito sa recipe na ito? Gusto ko Sana gumawa ng pandesal na 2 days na malambot pa din. Thank you

      Puede ka magdagdag ng roux sa recipe. Mix flour and milk for roux at idadag mo sa mixture.

    Pwede po Kaya bread improver powder ilagay ko Para kahit 2 days malambot pa din? Ilang tsp mixe ko sa recipe na ito gawin ko for business.

      Check mo sa wrapper ng bread improver na mabibili mo may instructions don kung ilang grams ilalagay mo for every kilo of flour. My recipe is 500g of flour. Iba iba kasi depende sa brand ng bread improver na mabili mo

      Check mo sis yung overnight ube pandesal ko, ganon ang procedure sis at nandon ang measurement din ng yeast depende kung gaano katagal ang gusto mong 2nd proofing. Iba procedure kasi ng overnight

      Yes you can kaya lang madaling tumigas ang butter. Ok ang butter to make rhe outside crispy pero di tumatagal na malambot ng ilang araw.

      Hindi mo napa alsang mabuti sa 2nd proofing kaya siksik.

      Nagalaw ba after proofing, kasi madali ma deflate yan pag naalog or nahawakan.

      Mas malambot ang bread pag oil, pag butter magdedevelop sya ng outer crust pero puede naman kaya lang sa pandesal ko lang nilalagay ang butter para mag create ng crunchy outer layer. Malambot kasi ang bread na ginagawa natin. But you can try to use it, melted butter dapat. Thanks

      Kahit ano puede Sis, pareho namang healthy yun. Kung wala kang access sa powder mas madali makahanap ng fresh malunggay

      Nakakatulong ang egg para ma hold ng pandesal yung form nya, di sya kumukulubot agad pagkaluto at pati sa taste din. Pero since itong malunggay pandesal ay may ibang ingredients like malunggay, vqnilla at oil, puedeng wala but you can opt to add 1 egg kung gusto mo.

      Puede mong lagyan, puedeng wala. Ginawa ko yang recipe na yan para don sa may mga allergy sa egg.
      Ang egg ay walang effect sa lasa ng pandesal, nakakatulong ito sa form ng tinapay.

      Mas sticky ang all purpose at mas mataas ang gluten ng bread flour which is suitable for breads. Thanks.

    Hi Ms. Mai, will be trying your malunggay pandesal recipe. But I have a general question, should I sift the flour before measuring or measure before sifting? I usually sift before measuring but I noticed that the 1 cup of flour I measured is lesser that 1 cup after sifting. Not sure also if when you sift makes a difference in the dough. 😊 Thank you.

      Yes it will make a difference, measure first before sifting. Unless you are weighing it.
