    After attempting to replace the whole core support because I wanted to do this conversion the correct way I discovered the bottom half is identical with the USDM core support. So I discuss process with a few Auto-body Professionals, they verified we were correct with only replacing the radiator support T-bar. After seeing all the videos out there and how their were installing their frontends, we felt compelled to make a video on 1 of correct ways and much easier way to install the JDM frontend.

      JDM rhd, I really appreciate you for your appreciation on these kinds of builds. I wish there was a video out there on the T-bracket before I started to do the whole core support which also is the correct way of doing this conversion. But I had to stop myself because it was a ton of work and once I notice both were identical support expect the t-bracket, I went to the professionals to get their advice before I attempted this method. I'm happy with the results and going with this method, saved me tons of work.

    That is the ambient air temp sensor. I have to decide if I want auto air con. Or double Din for tv. For those that need that sensor, the same one is on the Acura vigor and Legend is most common. This part can also be ordered.

    Damn where were all you guys when I was trying to trade my Jdm R front for a clean USDM 99-01 Integra front end?! Lol. I have a type r front and yes I wanted to go usdm front for my drag Integra. Instead of hacking up a type r front a bit for the hood exit and Intercooler opening.

    I was so confused. The L bracket closer to the outside of the lights, from the 4 you showed I do not have.
    But upon closer inspection my headlight don't even have a bolt in that area anyway. Just one on the bottom (the inside bottom) and two on the top (the top of the T bracket)
    I wonder if they changed this for different years or models

    • @jsrebuilds3951

      I don't know the answer to your question whether it is different for the years or models of your headlights. All I got was what was sent to me.

      So Edson M. to answer your question, I started to look into the JDM Integra headlights online. The bracket on my headlights has the original HID ballast and I believe it has the bracket so it could support the headlights because the HID ballast makes the headlights heavier. I notice in the other pictures with the JDM Integra headlights that don't have the OEM HID ballast, it doesn't have that bracket so it wouldn't need the L bracket furthest to outside. I hope this answers your question. But I don't think having the OEM HID would make the headlights year or model specific.

    Do you have a template somewhere for the headlight cutout?

    • @jsrebuilds3951

      No. I basically traced the cut out from the jdm frontend clip that came with the frontend parts.

    Is there a way without having to take out the top radiator support?

    • @jsrebuilds3951
      @jsrebuilds3951  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you can remove the whole front end support. This would require measurements and more drilling. I don't recommend cutting half the front end support as shown in most these videos out there.
      We were the first to show people on youtube with removing the top radiator support. We found that to be the easier way but it does require correct measurements shown in our other videos.

    I got a question I’m doin a k24 swap 94 teggy what needs to be removed in the engine bay? Or relocated sides fuse box an battery? I’m keeping my ps an ac what can be kept an junked

    • @jsrebuilds3951
      @jsrebuilds3951  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First off, I wanted to say thank you for subscribing to the channel. It's up to you on what you want to keep and get rid of. For sure you will have to get rid of you abs because the hasport mounts will interfere with it unless you can customize a bracket for the abs unit. I wanted to keep my ABS but everyone has their own preference. You can keep the fusebox and battery where it is. Relocating both is what people do to have a clean tucked look. For ps and ac please look at my other videos on it because I explain what is needed. If you still have certain questions you can reach out. Please share these videos with others, thank you.

    Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Hector is going to be running three Honda civics with spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry’s and bought three t66 turbos with nos, and a motec exhaust system.
