Starr Girl my box didnt even have a pamphlet this month. on top of that I got a fricken SLATE GREY smashbox lippie. and my eyeliner was open so agitating. this month was by far one of the WORST boxycharms i have gotten in 3 long years.
I got some weird three tone lipstick, a nail polish that’s supposed to be some type or treatment (not a cuticle one just a polish one) that’s weird gel liner, the eye masks and the eye palette. I already gave away the nail product, have no idea what to do with the purple, pink, magenta lipstick, I’ll probably just use the eye masks and the blue and purple colors from the palette. Disappointed this month

I wore the eyeshadow palette yesterday and the colors literally blend away into nothing! Definitely turned me off from buying anything from her brand in the future 🙄

Bright ass eyeshadows, brown gel liner, some weird lipsticks that won't complement the eye look at all (I've seen like a greenish brown, lavender-grey, white), and then either lashes, mascara, or a primer. It's so weird. Its like a reject box- except the eye masks.
The Laura Lee palette was garbage. Besides the fact that they're colors I would rarely wear, it was patchy AF and I found that they just fade to nothing while blending, even with an eye shadow primer. Packaging was nice, but the formula was comparable to drug store or less.

I agree with basically everybody in the comments, this months box sucked 👎🏻 I mean the party animal palette is alright I’ll probably never use it though, I would’ve preferred the “boss babe” palette for sure. I thought I got the cuticle oil because literally on the box it says “sweet almond cuticle oil” at the bottom but above it the box says something about a nail treatment so after watching this I opened it to see and it’s definitely some type of nail polish treatment...? Will never use that 😑 The lashes were alright, I like the brand just not persay the style I got. And I got the brown eyeliner also and I will literally never use that unless maybe I use it as as an eyebrow pomeade if it’ll even work that way 💁♀️ Just not satisfied. But I keep hope because I really liked the box we recently got with the luxie brushes, bum bum cream, & Alamar palette 😍😍 and maybe they will have something as good as that one soon.
Laura Wall I for the same exact box you did. I was trying to figure out the cuticle oil thing but the box was useless and so was the little information pamphlet they left us. I hated this box.
Laura Wall the eyeliner holds your eyebrows in place like superglue! They won't move! Personally, I like the hold, definitely try it if you like to use gels to keep your brows in place.
I just brushed the cuticle oil around my nails on just the cuticles and it worked really good! Id give it a go if I were you ❤ but other than the eye masks, I was so disappointed too

The only thing I like is the wander eye patches. Please tell your friend from alamar cosmetics to come out with something again. Her palette was GORG!!!
I think I got the same metallic lipstick as Kathleen, I like it when you can combine everything in the box for a cohesive look.... that’s not happening with this one! Lol

That palette is complete 💩 and I while I appreciate Kathleen trying to be nice I would have appreciated her being honest and calling out how the papers first blend, doesn't build up, colors get muddy, and it stains! At least she called out the eyeliner for being 💩, mine arrived with the lid loose and dried out
I HATED my box! I reviewed it on my channel. I didn’t get any Becca products, my palette was dusty and awful, and my lipstick was the colour you would turn if you died in icy water. Soooo bummed out. Breaks my heart because Boxycharm is my favourite.
Damn Laura Lee is having a tough week! Not many people were happy with the palette or box in general. If you hate your box you can blame her since she curated it. I will be using her palette with my Huda Electric Obsession palette because they actually compliment each other pretty well. I would've never bought it myself though.
The eye shadow palette, not good. I used the pink, and purple. It stained my eyes, and they itched, and swelled for two days after. The one thing I wanted was the primer, and didn't get it ☹. I usually don't complain, but it was awful this month. It was 💩💩
I made my 71 year old mother join boxycharm, I told her it was the best box I ever got and then we get this box, what an embarrassment. She gave the whole box away and said the palette was for clowns. I don't know what they were thinking putting a neon palette in at the end of summer for all ages

i am sooo dissapointed in this month's box. i would have prefered the other neutral palette that laura Lee made and not this horrendous neon palette that looks like clown makeup. or kid makeup. i have no use for a brown gel liner the cuticle oil is a repeat product for me and I got the damn lashes and I DON'T WEAR LASHES ibe given every pair of lashes a bad review since day 1. yet they still fricken send them to me. . the smashbox shades are the shades that didn't sell the crummy ones no one wanted to buy which is why they're all on sale at the stores that sell smashbox. the only thing i like is the wander masks....

I was thinking the same thing. I just filled out a new questionnaire and everything I received in my box was something I put on my questionnaire that I did not like. I sure hope Boxycharm looks at these questionnaires for next month..

This was the first month I’ve been really disappointed with my box. Awful, dried out eyeliner, unwearable eyeshadow, clown sized fake lashes, a lipstick that’s pale lilac and makes me look like a drowned corpse... the cuticle oil was the only thing I liked.
Ugh I didn't get the Becca Primer!!! I got the Laura Lee Palette, House of Lashes, Smashbox Lipstick, Wander Eye Masks, Chocolate Liner and the Adesse Sweet Almond Cuticle Oil (smells like nothing😫). So bummed!!! This is the first time ever that I'm not excited about my Boxycharm. Oh well just hoping September's is better!

So I just got my boxycharm this second. Palette is neon and horrible, brown eyeliner, cap was off which I heard the same thing from a lot of people, smashbox lipstick is a trio of purple orange, pink, horrible, cuticle oil, no use and false eyelashes again which I just got from them, no use. Like I said, only the wander eye masks are the best. I SWORE by this box, don't know what happened. This palette and lipstick is literally for CLOWNS. Hopefully it's better next time.

This honestly was my least favorite box I’ve ever gotten; I’m up for trying new things with makeup but whatever I put on goes with me through my day so I’m just never gonna use that palette??? Also I have 3 nail oils now so that’s great, and I actually got a dark red lip color.....in August??? Uhhhmmm awkward. But I did get the backlight primer so that’s a win 👌🏻
I was so mad I got false lashes when I specifically took the quiz to make sure I put falsies was not my thing I don’t wear them and they still sent them to me so much for customization but maybe they will get it right sometime soon hopefully

I got the first light priming filter so that was nice. I don’t mind the palette that much and the eye masks are ok. But the lipstick is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen! And the eye liner.... ehh. Oil is just ok- smells good but doesn’t do that much for my nails.

I was super excited for this box, but when I opened the bang eyeliner box, the jar wasn’t screwed shut and there was a weird question mark like indent in it! 😭 now I’m only happy for the Lippy since it’s a purple fall color
I wasn’t a big fan of the box this month. I will still stay subscribed to boxycharm because I know they can do better than this. Such a bummer though. I had to get rid of everything except the eye masks.

Traditionally less wearable eyeshadows are my comfort zone. I hardly ever wear nude eyes so this palette is perfect! Also I actually love the color combo you chose for eyeshadow!!

I got the same Becca primer as you! It was horrible on my dry skin!! :( As it dried, it really tightened my skin, then it turned white! :( I soooo wish I wouldve gotten the other one! I couldn't get that gel eyeliner to work for me either!
I keep repurchasing that nail oil. It’s so good! It will go off, and you’ll know by the smell, but it takes several months. Seriously, put it by your bed and use it for a few days, you’ll be amazed. So good!

I feel like the cuticle oil smells like almonds. I actually loved that product & I did get the illuminating Becca primer. First time trying it & I LOVED it. I thought the bang eyeliner was a brow pomade because it was super dry lol. The texture is sandy ... idk who pays $22 for that. So the Laura lee palette isn’t bad but damn those colors... lol I feel like body charm clients are more into practical makeup... but I’ll use them on the lower lash line 👍🏻 I got a mauve rosey lipstick from smash box which was good & the wander eye masks were bomb.
I was one of the few people who got boxycharm this month because I wanted the palette. I really like colorful Shadows, but the dark blue shade is just awful and nearly ruined my look today. The purple shade also has an incredible amount of fallout. So far the only other Shades that I've put on my eye were the pink shade and the light blue shade which both seemed okay... Overall I'm pretty disappointed though
FierceJadeMakeup same!! I did a Smokey golden look and tried to pop the cobalt blue color into the crease for a pop of color and the blendability was awful! It mixed horribly with my Jaclyn Hill Palette created look. So upset with this I was actually excited to start playing with some color!

I HATED Laura Lee's palette... it was surprising that you said they swatched nicely, because mine was chalky and patchy. And on the eyes, it was just bleh compared to what you can get from so many other brands. Which was so disappointing for me because even though I don't watch her videos, I want every influencer to do well in creating their own brands! But that palette was so bad, I had to throw it in the trash.
Andrea matallino mentioned that the palettes are really inconsistent. From what I’ve seen, every shade has multiple formulas so some palettes are completely different than others.
My Boxycharm wasn't my favorite, the palette was very disappointing. The colors weren't THAT pigmented once you used it on the eyes and the purple one had potential but it turned patchy and muddy. Lipstick was great, eye masks are great, liner was crap, cuticle oil was great, and primer was great. I don't own any Laura Lee products and unfortunately this one left a bad impression on her products in my opinion. 🤷♀️
Good to know on the eyeliner because I haven’t tried it yet. I got lashes instead of the primer and they are really pretty! I also got a grey lipstick instead of the gloss which I’m excited to try.

The eye shadow palette, not good. I used the pink, and purple. It stained my eyes, and they itched, and swelled for two days after. The one thing I wanted was the primer, and didn't get it ☹. I usually don't complain, but it was awful this month. It was 💩💩

I made my 71 year old mother join boxycharm, I told her it was the best box I ever got and then we get this box, what an embarrassment. She gave the whole box away and said the palette was for clowns. I don't know what they were thinking putting a neon palette in at the end of summer for all ages
Starr Girl I feel Laura Lee couldn't sell this joke of a palette and it was the best way for her to move her product out of the warehouse. I mean who would buy that? Mine is going straight to the trash can. September better step it up. July and August was a disappointment.

i am sooo dissapointed in this month's box. i would have prefered the other neutral palette that laura Lee made and not this horrendous neon palette that looks like clown makeup. or kid makeup. i have no use for a brown gel liner the cuticle oil is a repeat product for me and I got the damn lashes and I DON'T WEAR LASHES ibe given every pair of lashes a bad review since day 1. yet they still fricken send them to me. . the smashbox shades are the shades that didn't sell the crummy ones no one wanted to buy which is why they're all on sale at the stores that sell smashbox. the only thing i like is the wander masks....

I was thinking the same thing. I just filled out a new questionnaire and everything I received in my box was something I put on my questionnaire that I did not like. I sure hope Boxycharm looks at these questionnaires for next month..

This was the first month I’ve been really disappointed with my box. Awful, dried out eyeliner, unwearable eyeshadow, clown sized fake lashes, a lipstick that’s pale lilac and makes me look like a drowned corpse... the cuticle oil was the only thing I liked.

Ugh I didn't get the Becca Primer!!! I got the Laura Lee Palette, House of Lashes, Smashbox Lipstick, Wander Eye Masks, Chocolate Liner and the Adesse Sweet Almond Cuticle Oil (smells like nothing😫). So bummed!!! This is the first time ever that I'm not excited about my Boxycharm. Oh well just hoping September's is better!

So I just got my boxycharm this second. Palette is neon and horrible, brown eyeliner, cap was off which I heard the same thing from a lot of people, smashbox lipstick is a trio of purple orange, pink, horrible, cuticle oil, no use and false eyelashes again which I just got from them, no use. Like I said, only the wander eye masks are the best. I SWORE by this box, don't know what happened. This palette and lipstick is literally for CLOWNS. Hopefully it's better next time.

This honestly was my least favorite box I’ve ever gotten; I’m up for trying new things with makeup but whatever I put on goes with me through my day so I’m just never gonna use that palette??? Also I have 3 nail oils now so that’s great, and I actually got a dark red lip color.....in August??? Uhhhmmm awkward. But I did get the backlight primer so that’s a win 👌🏻
I was so mad I got false lashes when I specifically took the quiz to make sure I put falsies was not my thing I don’t wear them and they still sent them to me so much for customization but maybe they will get it right sometime soon hopefully

I got the first light priming filter so that was nice. I don’t mind the palette that much and the eye masks are ok. But the lipstick is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen! And the eye liner.... ehh. Oil is just ok- smells good but doesn’t do that much for my nails.

Alot of people got a eyeliner that was open or loose. That may be the reason it was dried out.

I was super excited for this box, but when I opened the bang eyeliner box, the jar wasn’t screwed shut and there was a weird question mark like indent in it! 😭 now I’m only happy for the Lippy since it’s a purple fall color
I wasn’t a big fan of the box this month. I will still stay subscribed to boxycharm because I know they can do better than this. Such a bummer though. I had to get rid of everything except the eye masks.

Traditionally less wearable eyeshadows are my comfort zone. I hardly ever wear nude eyes so this palette is perfect! Also I actually love the color combo you chose for eyeshadow!!

Out of the two laura Lee mini palettes... why did they choose this one? It does remind me of the urban decay electric palette which I have, love... & never use.

I hated that palette, the neon yellow has nothing of neon, nor does it has vibrancy.

You can use the lipstick as a metallic eye shadow. I got a purple metallic lip product once and that’s how I use it.

I got the same Becca primer as you! It was horrible on my dry skin!! :( As it dried, it really tightened my skin, then it turned white! :( I soooo wish I wouldve gotten the other one! I couldn't get that gel eyeliner to work for me either!
I keep repurchasing that nail oil. It’s so good! It will go off, and you’ll know by the smell, but it takes several months. Seriously, put it by your bed and use it for a few days, you’ll be amazed. So good!

I feel like the cuticle oil smells like almonds. I actually loved that product & I did get the illuminating Becca primer. First time trying it & I LOVED it.
I thought the bang eyeliner was a brow pomade because it was super dry lol. The texture is sandy ... idk who pays $22 for that. So the Laura lee palette isn’t bad but damn those colors... lol I feel like body charm clients are more into practical makeup... but I’ll use them on the lower lash line 👍🏻 I got a mauve rosey lipstick from smash box which was good & the wander eye masks were bomb.
I was one of the few people who got boxycharm this month because I wanted the palette. I really like colorful Shadows, but the dark blue shade is just awful and nearly ruined my look today. The purple shade also has an incredible amount of fallout. So far the only other Shades that I've put on my eye were the pink shade and the light blue shade which both seemed okay... Overall I'm pretty disappointed though
FierceJadeMakeup same!! I did a Smokey golden look and tried to pop the cobalt blue color into the crease for a pop of color and the blendability was awful! It mixed horribly with my Jaclyn Hill Palette created look. So upset with this I was actually excited to start playing with some color!

I didn't get a primer this month! I just re-took the beauty quiz, so hopefully my box will be more customized to me. However, I LOVE the cuticle oil. It smells SO good and works really well on my cuticles.
I HATED Laura Lee's palette... it was surprising that you said they swatched nicely, because mine was chalky and patchy. And on the eyes, it was just bleh compared to what you can get from so many other brands. Which was so disappointing for me because even though I don't watch her videos, I want every influencer to do well in creating their own brands! But that palette was so bad, I had to throw it in the trash.

Andrea matallino mentioned that the palettes are really inconsistent. From what I’ve seen, every shade has multiple formulas so some palettes are completely different than others.
My Boxycharm wasn't my favorite, the palette was very disappointing. The colors weren't THAT pigmented once you used it on the eyes and the purple one had potential but it turned patchy and muddy. Lipstick was great, eye masks are great, liner was crap, cuticle oil was great, and primer was great. I don't own any Laura Lee products and unfortunately this one left a bad impression on her products in my opinion. 🤷♀️

That palette is terrible. Chunky and chalky and dry as a bone!!! Not surprised tho being by LauraLee....yea when I looked at everything in my box I don’t know how it was even worth $20. The only thing good was lashes but shit they were HOL cheapest lashes
