I guess you don't need to, he brought the whole scooter on the workbench and didn't need to remove the wire, you just need to keep scooter close and remove the tire on the side opposite from the wire...
Phew. I thought I had to buy a whole new motor just to replace a tire. The problem is Hobou doesn’t sell honeycomb tires. Advice on where to purchase HiboyS2 solid tires? Good vid
@@rarbiyoutube yea but there are a couple of options, never sure which one to get. last one i got was too small, but that is before i was aware of the boiling in hot water method
but be careful, on the tire of this video it is written 8.5x2... is it a Turboant X7.. there is also the Turboant X7 Pro it seems to me.. it is the latter which must be in 10".. Normally you have to buy the solid tire (honeycomb) with the same reference as the original tire.. it is written on the tire whether it is 8.5x2 or 10x2 1/2..etc.. And on the video we can clearly see that it is a model with "double honeycombs"!!!
This is exactly what I’m about to work on this weekend, thanks for the video!

How did you remove the motor cable, you totally skipped that part.
Great video. How did you attache the tire to the table Vice? Is it being held by a screw?
How long do you heat the tire for?
Around 10 - 15 minutes.

You didn’t have to pull on the wire to get motor out. just pull the handles up

This is what NOT to do when doing this! 😢

Not sure I can take advice from someone that uses an adjustable wrench backwards. 😂
There is no “backwards” way to use a wrench
