The only difficulty people face on the aeroplane is the fajar prayer. The other four can be easily prayed on the ground before travelling or after travelling. Zuhr Asar, or Asar Zuhar can be prayed together similarly Maghrib,Esha or ESHA maghrib can be prayed together. refrence :Sahih muslim, abu dawoud and many more.

I like how you emphasize the use of the sun as a time or clock to identify the exact time for prayers. I hope you make a separate video about that too. Here in our country, Ramadan often brings discussions about the precise timing of iftar and suhoor. Some individuals break their fast before the adhan, using the sky as their basis, leading to disagreements about the correct time to observe these important meals.

Jazak Allahu Khayran for this wonderful tutorial. However I see a discrepancy between where to place hands in Ruku when seated and standing. Shaykh put hands on thighs for ruku when seated (~13:00) but then held his hands above thighs for ruku when demonstrating salah whilst standing (~22:00). Holding hands above thighs was for sajda in his seated example. Kindly clarify, Jazakum Allahu Khayran

Assalamualaikum. My question is about prayer time while travelling. From NY to Dubai or Bangladesh, I start my travel after praying Fajr. In my flight I look for next Duhr, but how much I go, it shows opposite timings, I don’t get the next prayer time. Which time I should follow in this case, the current traveling time or the salah I should continue? The whole flight shows me the backward timings. When evening or night comes, I can’t pray Duhr. I will be grateful if you kindly explain this. JazaakAllahu khairan for today’s content.

In this video i saw shaikh sit for ruku and between sajda and sajda posiiton. i was surprized that shaikh's hand position for ruku was similar to sajda position. is it not necessary to touch knees? if the gibla is behind, how do we sit for those situations (turn the direction only for sitting?).

“If a person is able to stand but he cannot bow or prostrate, the standing is not waived for him; he should pray standing and tilt his head for the bowing, then sit down and tilt his head for the prostration. This is the view of al-Shafi'i…
Because Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And stand before Allah with obedience” [al-Baqarah 2:238], and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Pray standing.” And because standing is one of the pillars (essential parts of prayer) for the one who is able to do it, so he must do it, like the recitation. Being unable to do other things does not mean that this is waived, as is also the case if he is unable to recite.” (Al-Mughni, 1/44)

One must first try request permission from air hostess to pray in back or front of plane ( where they prepare meal box) to pray . Only pray on seat if permission not granted. We don’t argue or fight for permission, but explain importance of prayer to non Muslim hostess. Most non Muslim staff v understanding and respectful and gives permission. It’s our own muslin air plane staff more problematic especially flying morrocco.

@Thomas - you've got no idea how our Muslims value our prayers, it is 2nd of the five pillars of Islam after declaration of faith. In fact Ibn Taymiyya (a saintly learned person) when referring to the Muslim prayer said something to this effect that " in this world there is paradise and he who does not experience this paradise on earth will (might) not experience the real paradise in the hereafter" but Allah SWT our Lord & yours is Most Gracious, Most Merciful, He bestows His favours on whomsoever He wills🙏
