I am 23 years old and have been feeling empty and not right my entire life. I have decided to change my life completely. Today at 12:30 PM, I did my Shahadah. I am now watching this video trying to learn how to pray. May Allah guide me on my journey.
God bless you. Just take it slowly and build up your prayer life! I took the Shahadah two summers ago, and now I have memorized 1/2 of the daily recited prayers. Don't stress yourself, but apply yourself daily to come closer to Allah. God bless you.

11 years ago I married a beautiful Muslim Indonesian girl - I’m white australian - and I now am currently in drug rehab.
I did convert to Islam 11 years ago, as her father wanted and I was happy to this out of love and respect.
he took us all to Mecca to undertake Umra. It was wonderful , but I never truely took Allah into my heart.
I have had problems and a week ago I decided to enter drug rehab. It has been life saving.
By myself, without talking to my wife, I started praying and it made me feel so much stronger I now pray 5 times a day and have found my love for Allah and feel his love for me as a Muslim and as a man. I told my wife and she is so proud and happy for me. She is bringing my long unused prayer rug when she visits me this Sunday.
Allah is healing me from my addiction and stupidity and is forgiving me.
I cAn feel this clearly and I will never forget what he is doing for this very foolish man that I became. Mushallah.
That’s all I wanted to say.

I converted over 20 yrs ago to Islam. I no longer practice (I was embarrassed about being Muslim) but I’m thinking about starting making my prayers during Ramadan 2024.
I hope you do pray I was in the same boat as you but now I’m fasting and praying over 5 times a day and I’ve never felt more grounded in life

my best friend reverted to Islam today, he was lost and Alhamdulilah Allah guided him, what I do wanna mention is brother, What needs to be clarified to non-muslims about the shahada is that we don't force it, but we insist that they take it as soon as possible, why? for the fact that we can die at any moment. So it's better to have died testifying in Allah and his messenger instead of on disbelief. Then as they progress they can become better muslims and get their questions answered.

but did you know that you are praying to someone else but not God Almighty? you have to return to Jesus he is the way there is no one else who can save us when we are in the judgement day but Jesus to be our intercessor when facing the Father in Heaven. Jesus came to this world for our sins, and He left us BUT STILL ALIVE on the left hand of God intercess for human kind. ALLAH IT IS NOT GOD, MUHAMMAD IS NOT A TRUE PROPHET but a ANTIPROPHET and Don't even compare him to JESUS because JESUS is GOD the Son who was from the beginning until now. bro I am from Nepal whole community and society here is. a Hindu ( superstition religion) but I reverted to Islam 6 months ago but bro they all have bad opinion and perspectives of Islam like terrorism and harmful religion so Its being hard for me to do any Islamic stuffs and Salah in my home bro because everyone here is Hindu and how to do anything Islamic bro they will kick me out of home
I can't tell them because they don't value my words because in their mind Islam is just a harmful religion
can anyone help me in this situation
though I am grateful for Allah opening my heart and choosing me here in this superstition country but in return I can't give even proper prayer and gratitude for him because of my environment

I used to be in the same or similar position, but alhamdulillah I’ve learnt how to pray and read the Quran. Start at home and try and keep it consistent as much as possible, after reciting a small surah, open the Quran and double check. And with the durud ebrahim and tashahhud, just listen to TH-cam audio and try and recite aswell, worked for me inshallah you will get and look at back and say how easy it was.
Sheikh ibn qayum said music and Quran don’t music, and that’s true according to my experience, so if you listen to music please try and replace it with Quran.

The same happened to me. In my own opinion, I am not a good Muslim, and do not tell others "I am Muslim" as it is a disrespect to those who are truly devout followers. I just say I believe in Allah and the Quran as the true message.
I read the Quran, the Bible, the Bhagavad-Gita, the Buddhist scriptures, and all of them pointed me back towards Allah and the Quran.

Welcome brother/sister to Islam. I hope whatever trouble you have ends inshallah. One thing I would like to say is whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him/sallAllahu alayhi wasalam) is mentioned, send blessings upon him (sallAllahu alayhi wasalam) because of this hadith.
The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “May his nose be rubbed in the dust, one in whose presence I am mentioned and he does not send blessings upon me.” Narrated and classed as hasan by at-Tirmidhi (3545); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan at-Tirmidhi.

I was an atheist and I kinda accepted God like 3 month ago. I was on vecation in Marrakesh and when I heard the prayers around the city I had this feeling of connecting with the whole city and feeling inner peace. I joined the fasting on ramadan and my health got much better (my gastritis went away after 4 years) my skin got way better and I found the strength to quit smoking while fasting, I don't like drinking alcohol anymore (which was getting kind of a problem). Im gonna study the Quran before my conversion though.

I am currently 18 years old and I was born and raised in sweden, my father is moroccan and my mother is swedish and so we spoke swedish in the household and I never learnt arabic. My father taught me how to play when I was little and also a few surah but I am ashamed that I have forgotten how to pray and what to say. He assumes that I know how to do it and when we pray together (My father prays all the time but I used to only remember and try to do it during ramadan) I go along with the movements but I have forgotten what to say, and I never told him or asked him since I am ashamed that I "faked" my prayers. I never really had any care about islam when I was a child but I have now gotten into it and I realise what it is all about and I want to be a good muslim. This video is such a help, thank you so much.

I learnt how to read the quran in arabic and learnt many surah by heart. Because i went away from islam for my own selfishness and pleasure I forgot the surah and forgot how to pray. I started learning again. Please pray for me so i can learn it fast and so that allah may forgive me.

Hello and peace be upon you. I am 12 years old and called myself muslim for as long as i can remember but i never really prayed nor did i read the quran on a daily basis. I didn’t even know Sura al Fatiha by heart, only thing i knew was the Shahada. I then saw a Video about Islam. This inspired me to become religious more. This Happend about 1 year ago, i had this phase where i just watched Videos and studied. Now was this same phase but i knew that this will not bring me to Jannah. I thought: „If i can’t take my legs to the Prayer mat, how do i expect them to bring me to Janah?“. 2 days ago i wanted to pray but i could feel every pump of my heart and i had fear. But yesterday i did it again no matter the emotions and when i began all my fear went away. I felt only peace in that moment and every negative emotion went away, including the fear i had. It felt so good and peaceful that i did it 4 times. I would’ve done it the whole day but unfortunately i was interrupted. I prayed again now and i wanna become a better Muslim.

It's also shirk to say if it wasn't for you this wouldn't have happened or it happened bcz of you and Allah as Allah alone is the owner of all benefit and harm. Salaam Im 18 and just became Muslim yesterday still need help understanding how to pray may allah guide me on my journey
May Allah reward and bless you brother. inshallah it will be easy after you get the basics down. I repented and started praying a few weeks back and what helped me was an App on my phone with earbuds and i kept repeating what was being said until i remembered it all , one is called step by step salah , the other is called Salat learning
the other for ablution ( wudu) before prayer is called awlad- salat and ablution also another one is called muslim guide salah and wudu

Don't put candles on cake it's shirk . Also search dua for protection of shirk

Im 18 everytime I was offering namaz always a thought used to come to mind that the way I'm and people in family are offering namaz is not correct finally today I decided to give it a thought and I really find out we were following wrong way.Never ignore your inner voice I just learned it today. jazakallah ❤

Brother, if you come from a Christian background, did you consider why Prophet Moses brought blood sacrifice for sin with the law, and Jesus Christ for the Christians is the prophesied final blood sacrifice for sin, yet Islam does not have blood sacrifice for sin?

Alhamdulillah, Welcome to Islam, First of all as soon as u took ur shahada you are like a newborn baby all your sins have immediately been wiped away, you are as clean as a fresh sheet.
remember allah knows your intentions, if you make mistakes u didn't know don't worry allah is watching at all times and he knows your intentions.

Edit: I am now 13 and absolutely determined to pray and learn more about islam and the quran. I am ashamed I have not done much, but may Allah guide me the rest of the way. Insha’Allah I will become a better muslim. 🤍

Ma'sha'allah so many people converted to islam😊 my mom taught me wudu when i was 9-10 and i memorized it when i almost was 11. When i went to masjit with my uncle i learned to say allahuakbar while in salah
