Place an order with LTT for the p30/sk with the very light or light option. I believe you would be impressed. I have both with optic cuts and find they to be ideal carry guns. I was duty issued an LEM HK and at first did not care for it compared to striker options. It took a while to appreciate it in its stock configuration, however, the tuned LEM’s are a cut above. The safety it brings to appendix carry and the accuracy of the P30 with a tuned trigger is something you have to experience for yourself.
I have the HK P2000SK LEM. I installed the Gray Guns Short Reset Trigger, and what a difference it made. If you are used to Glock style trigger resets, you will not like the LEM. Now with the SRT installed, it is one of my favorites.
Prefer the LEM P2000 9mm. The P30 is a good gun, but I don't like serrations on the front of the slide. Already has a loaded chamber indicator, anyway. P2000 LEM all the way.
A P30SK V1 or HK45 V7. Both can be had with 3 magazines and factory night sights. The accuracy of the HK45 and its barrel O-ring is impressive. If you ever own a P30 verses a P30L, you might wonder why the P30L is popular. That extra barrel length does not improve the balance. A USP expert has a very light double action trigger pull and lighter still single action trigger pull. Not as easy to find but the Expert model is made in 9mm, 40S&W and 45acp. The Expert also has a barrel O-ring for accuracy. The VP9 and VP40 family of pistols are striker fired but very decent triggers. The VP9 Match has a 5 inch barrel with an O-ring. Many pistols in the VP family have slides modified for an optic. A red sure makes aiming easier. A cheap form of practice involves a pair of handball balls. Hold one tightly in your palm with your middle two fingers only. Put the second ball above that and squeeze it with your trigger finger against and toward your thumb as if it were the trigger of a pistol. It will build up yo
New sub here. Thanks for explaining the difference between the LEM trigger and the DA/SA. You demonstrated the actions very well. Now, which one will I choose? 🤔 Just kidding, I live in the UK, where the King says we cannot defend ourselves, even with an umbrella. We are so lame! 🤪 Pro tip, guys. Never give up your 2A! Yippe-ki-yay! 🤠
To expend on that a little bit: I want DA/SA for the long, heavy 10-12 lb trigger on the first shot. I carry the P30SK V3 stone stock with factory night sights. If I wanted that first shot trigger more like all the subsequent shots, I wouldn't get some aftermarket trigger. No. I'd just buy a VP9 variant. There's not even any need to get a slide cut aftermarket for an optic, in fact, you can even buy one with Holosun optic on it as a factory SKU from HK. I know, I'm the only youtuber that isn't The Gray Man, cool as dry ice in high-stress situations. Everyone else draws lightning fast and silky smooth, and would do so in all scenarios. Even with rounds coming their way, they'd be rock steady, heart not even speeding up. They're all better than I am. No matter how much I practice I still mess up a little now and then, but I keep at it.
I think I would be distracted by the constantly bobbing hammer. I’ve gone DA/SA for my HKs, but I’m thinking of the LEM for my sub carry. Still on the fence.
Exactly same thing I keep thinking about / that moving hammer. Was surprised how much better I shot it though after being so bad early on! Thanks so much for watching!!
You probably have the v2 lem in the p2k here those had a heavier trs which made that long take up heavier than v1 lem as found in the p30. My p30 is in lem, it's fantastic, I find myself shooting the v3 traditional da/sa more lately however, but that's not to say lem is bad by any means they each have their place. P2000 has probably been my favorite for over a year now since I've made it pretty much my "main squeeze" for edc. It really strikes the perfect size for me.

LTT has done magic with my PX4’s. Very seriously considering sending some HKs to them!! Thank you for watching!

I want to try one of those triggers in my HK!!!! Thank you for the info and for watching !!
I quite like it in my USP. Very crisp and short reset and decently light. Basically just a long 2 stage trigger.

Crazy laws in UK!! Thank you so much for watching!!!
Tried LEM, didn't like it for a CCW gun. V3 for me.

I carry an HK USPC with LEM and match trigger. The pull is excellent and the break is crisp and predictable. Having both is the best trigger HK makes.
I only go lem now on my hk’s and I just got my p30l back from Langdon
I’m dying to try a Langdon HK!! Their PX4 is one of my favorites!! Thanks for watching.

I shoot either fine, just gotta practice (like with anything, really)
Prefer the LEM, have GG reset and LTT extra light spring for CCW

That reminds me of my Walther WMP pistol.
Sometimes, the problem is the builder, not the tools.
Nah. It still sucks. I have a USP with the LEM trigger. Worst gun ever. And I know that people love it and pay top dollar for it.
It is all a matter of preference. I prefer the DA/SA in my USP 45s. Prefer the LEM in the P30 series 🤷♂️
Nah LEM trigger does suck.
