Reign: an entity that has a rare chance to spawn in the middle of the room. If he spawns the player is unable to sprint, the player needs to walk out of the room Reign was in or not the player will not survive. Also the player need to go to room behind the room Reign was in. It's like Reign telling the player "Hey, this rooms is MINE! Go back to the previous room you were in" and if the player already went to the previous room, Reign will mediately disappear. If the player doesn't go, his hand will grab the player and crush the player. Appearance: a lime ball with a smiley face with hands coming out his eyes, the hand we're touching the ground meaning that it's Reign's ground. The hands are dark green. Sound: the sound when Reign spawns is a deep laugh with an loud echo, and the disappearing sound is a loud boom. ( I took me a long time to make this)
Fun fact most of the entities are known to represent SINS, for example: Carnation=Lust Slight=Envy Slugfish=Greed Elkman=Gluttony Heed=Pride Sorrow=Wrath Dozer=Sloth So I would like an entities that are similar like SINS. Example would be from Dante Inferno: Limbo, Hersey, Violence, Fraud, and Treachery. Limbo would most likely be a room entity which will isolate the player (most likely the player who is in front) you most likely teleport somewhere a monochrome forest where you need to find 8 door to get out. (The door will glow to show where it is in the forest.) Fraud would be similar as Dupe from Door and “the good people” from Pressure it would most likely a green exit sign that will fool the player will not instant kill you. Violence would be something you can attack it an entity you can attack by flashing with the flash light. Hersey idk go along with ridiculous high belief like which craft or religious corruption Treachery would be a shortcut that will slow you down with “frostbite” every time you kept using it and have an entity chasing you due to betraying the path that god gave you.
According to the dev: eight evil thoughts, being the seven deadly sins/capital sins are not what the game is based on. Carnation isn't directly associated with the sin of lust, it IS directly associated with the first sin of mankind which is similar to the sin of lust, Slugfish is both gluttony and greed, elkman, heed, and slight have not been associated with a sin, I forgot about Sorrow and Dozer. I love the idea of this game being like Dante's Purgatorio because it kinda is, but without Seven Terraces (so so so so painful not to have it that way) but in the game you are doing something similar to Purgatory, not quite Mount Purgatory though.
While the designs are insanely cool, but i dont think any of them would fit into something as fast paced as grace. They would however fit perfectly into doors.

Entity Concept: *Deluge* Functionality: Deluge is a sudden burst of flood which attacks similarly to floor is lava. However, before initiating, a hint of water will flow when opening a door. In the next 10 seconds after opening that door, the water will quickly flood the room you are in and to survive you must be standing in a surface that doesnt go in contact with the ground like that room where theres obstacles you need to jump and slide into. The flooding will stop after 2 seconds, the flood will just disappear like nothing ever happened, a similar effect like Sorrow. Deluge can be associated/simultaneous with: (after flood) Sorrow, and (whilst flooding) Slugfish.
Cool video, and as someone who has not played grace yet, here are my thoughts for some names that would work for them. 1. Stopsight. (The red-light green-light mini-game idea) 2. Skillcheck (It sounded funny with the mechanic you said if a teammate was behind) 3. The Stabilizer (or Ticktock, both sound good) Also you gotta be more specific with the drink water quote, i drank too much bottled water i almost threw up (13) and as much as this sound like a joke(it mostly is) i did drink 13 bottles today and felt sick for three hours
I think a better mechanic for the second one IF you are in single player is he just sends you back anyway from 1-2 rooms without a mini game. Having that sort of mini game in grace does not feel grace-y, it feels pressure quick time event mini games like pandemonium
every grace entity must: 1. take 1 or 2 actions to avoid (hide, stand still, etc.) 2. be comboable with other entities (carnation) 3. it must have a very obvious visual cue

Can't be destroyed but can be walked around. A monster that forces you to stop using any form of light, or it will attack you.
would it be realy funny if after room 500 entities change from sins to vitues: like: patience- an entity which will require you to slow down (much like the elk man and if you dont slow down (by spending atleast 2secs in the room you will start to glitch out) faith- a room type wich (if you take he long path going up (you are not safe from carnation though she will be slowed)) will cut 5-9 rooms (if this room generates near the safe area then it will cut half of the course) charity- having to make you trade atleast one item (either pages wich give you like 2bricks or any upcoming items) just to name a few and these entities/room types will cycle every 500 rooms
I feel like one cool design for Carnation would be when he comes by he kind of like blooms cuz you know he’s based off of a flower edit: also I’m imagining all of these monsters in a retro type of style as you draw them and what their animation would be depending on what they do but overall W drawings

Honestly since he has sort of a red-light green-light gimmick I think it would fit. 2nd entity: I couldn’t figure out a name with the mechanic, but based on the design I think Ghast would be a good name. 3rd entity: All I thought of was Dial since there’s a clock on him, lazy af making these names lol
My idea for a monster is the reverse of dozer. its a red face that's crying. when he spawns you can't stop running until the next monster spawns (not including slugfish elkman goatman slight and heed). if you stop running, your screen turn red and his eyes turn into black + and the text that appears is "ẄH4| H4V€ ¥ØU Ð0Ŋ3" instead of the text appearing on a corner and multiples. it spawns everywhere like the "you are a idiot" virus then you die. The note reads "don't stop". he appears as the last entity. He won't spawns when any of the not listed enemies are active. the description of his badge is "he Isn't like the other ones" I didn't know what name to give him so I put reverse of sleeper on chat gpt and got vigilant alert conscious awake wary and more that didn't fit so what name should I give him?????

Another reason why it might not work is because grace is a speed type of game soo having to do a mini game while trying to be fast might not work
