It's a tough modifier, especially with other difficult modifiers, but I think we need to try to get used to that pressure before jumping to conclusions, look what happened to the Mines after launch (on its own it's too easy now).
I would agree but there's a difference between learning a new floor's mechanics and praying you don't get two basement rooms in a 1 minute timeframe. I think if they removed the basement rooms and long key hallways that this modifier would be perfectly fine while still being tough.

I made a video about this yesterday, but I'll try and sum up the changes I proposed from that here: -Remove the levers from Seek chases and Doors 50 and 100; This is because I'd instead replace that with the timer pausing (and resetting to 2 minutes) until those sequences are over (and if Make Haste was added to Mines this would also include the Grumble intro scene) -Have a 1-1.5 minute lever guaranteed spawn at the entrance to those big rooms everyone complains about -Spawn levers in Greenhouse but only have them appear every 3-4 rooms and give 30 seconds to keep the final stretch tough (especially considering Door 100 stops the timer)
So as someone who beat this modifier, yes it is luck base, and some rooms need to have levers in it to make this modifier possible, like the big rooms which required a key. But overall, basement are fine (unless if they are too big) because there's always a lever in it. Maybe have a lever (30s) during Seek chase which is always on the path to the next door. And greenhouse, obviously they should be levers during this part. However with people, it is very fun. Have a nice day.
this also happens with dread too. as a game dev, it's really weird why they even chose to do this? they didn't have to make it so that it TECHNICALLY makes the rooms turn dark (there's a toggle for that), they could've made it only make everything appear dark. screech just isn't even fair during either of these, dread literally muffles ALL audio, and haste is constantly screaming in your ears. i've seen WAY too many videos of people trying to crucify dread, but screech comes in at the last second. it's not even like the devs are unaware of this either. baffles me.
18:54 you just encountered Shadow! You can tell by the split second noise that the opened door made. Had you been fully positioned in the door frame, you would have seen Shadow for a split second before he disappeared

Make haste in the hotel is so difficult cause since there are so many side-rooms, any one could have a lever, but checking them takes time. Some levers are also hard to click, and I think like one is impossible (unless they fixed it). Fun modifier in the hotel though
0:27 Haste is in line with other entities for example, Rush If you crucify Rush, you only crucify that instance of Rush It can still show up later If you really want to, you can just say Haste is replaced by a new one every time you crucify it

What's funny is that Make Haste is the same modifier % as DEALT IT. Dealt It???? The one that massively increases firedamp rooms, it's as easy as 1, 2, step out the (possibly previous) room to breathe (It still also takes like 20-25 seconds to kill you)
they were totally not paying attention to what % they were putting for the firedamp modifiers lmao, even if you use it in the mines (supposed to increase the chances even MORE) it's a freebie
Sally was made more common recently due to cheddar balls complaining about its mechanics being wasted with it being too rare. Sally will likely be changed quite a bit in a future update
5:36 fun fact! having more time actually gives blitz a higher chance to bounce back. so if you ever enter a room and spot a lever while blitz is about to attack, it's just a tiny bit more optimal to wait for until blitz passes by. this is also the reason why if you use the blitz modifier without make haste, blitz doesn't bounce back at all

At the start of the seek chase ( On the hall) there should be a 30 seg lever Library could be one lever that gives like 6 or 7 min instatead of being a lot of levers Same with 100 Courtyard basement could have a 2 min lever. And do teaks that makes this more fair.

This modifier is nowhere near as bad as people say it is, people just never check side rooms for levers, even though it’s the most likely place for levers to spawn
I swear. I play the run near perfect movement and I get lucky with keys and sometimes levers, but If you dont have at least 50 disposable seconds on your clock during the seek chase you just die 😭
Some of these lever placements are devious lol, like you can see a missed level on the very right of the screen at 20:22 for like 3 frames, but it was missed due to eyes being in the room
If you didn't know, there's a chance of a crucifix spawning in rooms such as the 9:40 mark room, and the bed room one. good luck. (above the door frames or some where on a wall.)
I believe this modifier is impossible right now. I have tried it and got to the greenhouse once and once there i realized there are no levers spawning and since i was low on time, at about door 95 i just died to haste. I dont know if levers can even spawn in the greenhouse but when I did my run there was not a single lever that spawned there.
Also since the timer never stops in Door 100, you're basically guaranteed to die because even if you get past Figure, there's still the breaker puzzle, where the timer keeps going, and even if you get to the elevator safely, the timer STILL keeps going and it's a pretty much guaranteed death to Haste during the cutscene because he can kill you there for some reason

This challenge is legitimately impossible if you cannot flip time switches. You’re only given two minutes by default, there’s no way you’re making it through 100 doors in 2 minutes. The boss fights alone take 5

I found make haste easy, with hotel and all the backdoors enemies and rooms enemies, got to jeff first try but died on purpose as I was crucifix badge hunting so when I use a crucifix I die play again go to jeff and so on.
@@zackk7809 this is actually not true, it just makes the volume of everything except itself go to zero, the reason why it may seem like that is because in rooms, there is scripted a-90 + a-60 encounters, and when that happens, a-60 slows down to account for the time a-90 takes

@@zackk7809 this is actually not true, it just makes the volume of everything except itself go to zero, the reason why it may seem like that is because in rooms, there is scripted a-90 + a-60 encounters, and when that happens, a-60 slows down to account for the time a-90 takes
The LIES!!!! A-90 doesn't pause Rush, Blitz, RNIUSCHG==, and AROXMBUSH, Eyes, and Screech. Do more research next time!
