    Amazing how you make it easy for students. One point that can be added is that Tibial External rotation is actually relative Femoral Internal rotation. If student understand that then dont need remember weight bearing and non weight bearing thing separately. 🙏

      hehe...thnk u shaliest....ya u are right but I hope students would love to remember weight bearing and nonwt bearing which is more imaginable as they can visualise it and comes across in daily life.Anyhow in future classes on locking and unlocking I willl mention the point u described cool......

    Sir I had 2 doubts
    1. If the popliteus is not working efficiently could it lead to pain although the motion wont be hampered ?
    2. And with weight bearing as the femur is rotating medially while extension sort of like relative tibial lateral rotation?

    • @TonysTutorial
      @TonysTutorial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1.Need not be, i mean there may not be pain as long as other structures are intact.
      2.i didn't get your question...sorry are u referring to pain?

    • @manishamasand4716
      @manishamasand4716 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TonysTutorial yes sir so for example while walking I'm turning through the right side, so I'll be pivoting on the right foot so it's going to be medial rotation of the femur so does that lead to relative lateral rotation of the tibia ? I'm sorry it's a very odd doubt 😄

      @@TonysTutorial sir could you explain conjuct rotation in knee and what is the difference between conjuct rotation and axial rotation in knee.

    • @TonysTutorial
      @TonysTutorial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Priya Sagar hai priya, i guess i used term combined rotation. Okay the idea is simple axial rotation means rotation of an object here our bone around its axis, for instance take its longitudinal azis( axis parellel to shaft of bone) or any other axis. When rotation takes place it happens around an axis and we denore it as axial rotation of bone. So all motions we studied like flexion extension are all axial rotations. When it comes to combined rotation its actually combination of two rotatory movements, to movements occuring simultaneosly or next to each other. Like in locking both lateral rotation and extension happens together or any other two movemts happening at same time

  • @adarshkhanduri8551
    @adarshkhanduri8551 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Sir there is bit of a confusion 😅 what is differnce between genue varum , genue vaglum and varus and valgus it is confusing me alot otherwise all doubts clear sir tqnu 🙏❤️

    • @TonysTutorial
      @TonysTutorial  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Genu valgum is a deformity, genu valgum is also a deformity of knee joint. whereas valgus and varus is a common term, which can be applied to any joint for instance we have valgus and varus at elbow. How do we call it then? we call cubitus valgus and cubitus varus. So genu valgum or varum is specific to knee and its the varus or valgus deformity of knee. Cubitus varus and valgus is the valgus or varus deformity of elbow.
