    Sir what we to write if the question is like this.... describe stability and mobility of knee joint ???

  • @sanikapradhan859

    In closed kinematic chain , to increase knee flexion which glide should be given -anterior or posterior glide for mobilization nd y??

    • @TonysTutorial
      @TonysTutorial  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont know why u r giving tibial glide in closed kinetic chain? how far its practical? As closed refers weight bearing is glide practically possible for improving knee flexion. Its better efficient is glide is given in non weight bearing right?

    • @sanikapradhan859
      @sanikapradhan859 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TonysTutorial yes I m sry there was a mistake I meant to say open Kinematic chain which glide is given for mobilization and why

    Sir very confused in genu varum n valgus and adduction n abduction both are same r anything different in this sir

    • @TonysTutorial
      @TonysTutorial  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      hei roopa, genu valgum and varum is a deformity and abduction adduction is the normal movement. A physiological valgus is there in knee more than that it contribute to genu valium or if its less than it creates varum. So here abduction adduction have nothing to do with varum nd valgum.Abduction adduction is normal movement that existing in the knee.
      I hope it makes sense.
      valgum and varum can be also denoted as adduction or abduction deformity bcz in valgum and varum adduction and abduction increases- but u need not rememberer this its not a big deal

    What about rotation of femur when the foot is on the ground and tibia is fixed

    • @Kaluvalu129
      @Kaluvalu129 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In closed chain kinematics ,that is when tibia is fixed then in knee flexion femoral condyles rolls posteriorly on the tibial condyles upto 0 to 25 degrees after 25 degrees of flexion roling is accompanied by anterior glide. Where as in knee extension this is quite oppo that is femur rolls anteriorly and glides posteriorly..
