    This is the kind of module that will one day make me get a small Eurorack case to fill with stuff I can use together with my synths.

    On 47 second so cool sound of door opening on background. Firstly I recognized it as kinda effect, than realized that just door sound from mic. So cool!
    Thanks for the explanation!

    Very welcome! My Rainmaker arrived yesterday and I was honestly a little intimidated. This makes it very clear. Thanks!

    I just got the Rainmaker used from Reverb.com. I have not received it yet but can't wait to start tackling this powerful machine. Thanks for sharing, super helpful!

    Such a big delay machine.
    Thank you for the clear vid.

    Wow awesome presentation, thank you... I am going get this beast ASAP it’s just astounding. I come from a guitar background, very old school, like for example, real tape delay and bucket-brigade dark analog delays and now current digital stuff.... but. I can’t get over the Rainmaker, its like having three or four super high quality modern effects as well as a synth. I’m so blown away!

      Hopefully they have them in stock again one day. I'd be very sad if they're gone forever. :/

      Are they not in stock? Mmm, maybe I should grab one now while I can

      @@howardanderson3061 On their official website they're out of stock as of when I posted the comment. Haven't checked anywhere else yet.

      Wow thanks, I should probably grab one while I can, just to be safe. Used ones are available in the 530:00 dollar range. Is the Rainmaker a popular item among the Modular folks?

      Once again, thanks again for the heads up. This changes my equipment purchasing strategy, I need to bump the Rainmaker up to the #1 position and get one ASAP!

    When I set the trigger to randomize and press it, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

    • @brhodes0
      @brhodes0 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You need to first press the random button at the top left and select a target parameter to be randomised, then the trigger will work like you expect. Hopefully you have sorted this out within the past year but it might help someone else with the same question.

  • @super2thesam
    @super2thesam 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Yeah, if you just press edit **presses a couple other buttons too** you can edit all of them together

    • @sooperheep
      @sooperheep 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah you have to select what you're editing globally, keep up

    Thanks and excuse my ignorance but Is it something that comes with a power supply you can use straight out the box or will i need to buy a separate case with power supply to put it in.

    Hey, maybe the Intellijel crowd could help, if they look at comments....
    I bought the rainmaker, the uZeus power supply and the Doepfer A-190-8 to link it up with Logic through USB, but im struggling to get it working, software wise. Anyone know how i get it to work in a logic channel that's providing the oscillator?

    I gather there's no way within the unit to CV control the main dry/wet parameter? I looked into seeing if I could configure one of the mod controls to do that but while there is a dry/wet option, it seems to be for the delay section only... Yeah, you can always manage that externally, but not without some extra cabling and probably a VCA or two (or four). Was kind of hoping there was an easy way to do it in-module...

    • @ScottMFR
      @ScottMFR 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's correct Syncopator, only the Delay section has CV control over the Wet/Dry mix. I believe this is because the final wet dry mix is analog and not digital.

    time mod doent modulate the delay time, but it modulates pitch..

  • @notoms1

    Can it emulate traditional delay types? Analog/tape

    In this demo you've got L & R reversed. At the beginning when we first hear the Atlantis, you've routed it to the left input but we gear it on the right. Just sayin

    • @KamilKisiel
      @KamilKisiel 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      L is normalled to R so the input goes to both channels when both attenuators are up.

    why does my Delay Feedback knob feel like its way more sensitive than yours is acting and why was there the name change of Piles to Stacks, is that a new Firmware?? Also for manipulating the Comb Size when I turn the knob CCW I can't go all the way without audio dropping out. It is not smooth as when you turn it all the way CCW - you think maybe it might have to do with Grain settings??

    • @0neTwo0neTwo
      @0neTwo0neTwo 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      cool so I just have to be patient, hopefully the firmware update process isnt as hard as the ShapeShifter one was?? =-)
