Idk for other states but some colleges have Conway scholarship for nursing students its about 10k per year. If you live in dc, trinity Washington university have the scholarship and if you hv good gpa they give u up to 15k scholarship on the top of that. Furthermore, there is another one called mayor’s scholarship upto 4K . This if for dc residents tho.

As you know a good communication is a must in nursing field and with my stuttering problem it’s not something that I can do 😥
Pls pls don’t be discouraged! Nursing school is the only hard part of nursing. Once you’re past nursing school I promise you, it won’t be difficult at all. I’ve seen many good and smart nurses who struggle to speak English rock at their job. I know it’s not the same but It’s really not about communication. Nursing is about caring! And it’s about watching out for your patients. Pls don’t let anything pull you down

They tell you that you need it to know how to calculate how much medications you’re giving but technology is so good now. All the computers and machines you use calculate the amount of medications you have to give for you.

Hello yes when I first started college, my goal was to get into medical school so I started taking prerequisite classes for medical school (pre-med) Then I decided to become a nurse and I started take prerequisite classes for nursing school. Some of the lower classes I took like English 101 and some maths classes were common for both so I didn’t have to take those again. Best of luck to you
