      Hey Mitch! Any chance you could do a brake replacement video for the Honda Ruckus?

    Thank you. It's January 2024 and I just got a Yamaha Vino 125 that I traded for a sick Peavey RJIV bass made in USA. I was hesitant at first because it rode wobbly, until my neighbor told me my rear tire was low. After I filled it up at the local Shell station it rode 100% better, and now I get it. Scooters are so much fun and being a Yamaha Stryker 1300cc owner, this is WAY more fun.

    Thanks for doing these awesome videos. The carburetor video was a lifesaver for me. Regarding the oil change, Getting the oil filter housing off and back on was such a pain. The two 10mm bolts specifically. I used a ratchet with a 6" extension as you noted in the video and I watched you do it about 20 times over and over. It looks like you were able to get a straight shot with the extension/socket onto both bolts. I couldn't get enough of a straight shot to reinstall those two bolts. I ended up removing the plastic floor of the scooter with the battery box to try to get more open room to approach the bolts. Major pain and waste of time. I keep wondering what I'm doing different (wrong) vs what you are doing in the video. I'm sure it's user error on my part. LOL.

    Super helpful video, I just changed the oil and transmission fluid yesterday. My brother just gave me his Vino 125. It only has 490 miles on it but it's been sitting for about 10 years. I've never owned a Moped before. Do you have a Brake fluid change video? Also what would you suggest I do before trying to get this thing running again? I had to spray WD-40 in the gas cap because it was stuck. I've drained the gas from the tank and there's gunk. I was planning to drain and replace the Brake fluid, and was contemplating taking out the tank and cleaner the carburetor, but wasn't sure if pouring new gas and then trying to see if I can get it started was a good idea or not :).

      @toasty925 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I purchased one similar to what you deacribed. Has 478 miles but sat for 7 years. My fuel tank was full of crud and rust, definitely pull the tank out and clean it. People have suggested to run an inline fuel filter to catch any possible remains from the tank. I’m also planning to clean the carb following mitch’s video.

  • @glenmo1

    That that cover for the oil element is magnetic and can trap little pieces of metal so clean it well along with the filter itself

    What a huge pain to get to the oil filter. Good thing you covered it, so I know not to buy a Vino.

      Yeah it sucks but not too bad just have to do every 4,000 miles... Vino 125 is one of best scooter I ever ride... it handles amazing but not impressed with motor performance since Buddy 125 can go faster!

    Dude, seriously, you replace the oring AND the copper washers each time, the washers are a CRUSH item , one time use! As is the drain plug washer, REPLACE ! As always replace the ORING. Smh..
