1:53 the most realistic non-decoder horn ever produced in the history of model railroading. no sound decoder will ever be able to recreate such realism in the modern age.
Awesome, the camera swinging with the table in the shot where your talking is a little nauseating though (i could be being a baby because i am sick lol)
I'm guessing that this model was something that Rivarossi was selling post AHM. This may explain why it has a can motor and the upgraded horn. Also, I've seen Rivarossi items in red boxes in more recent times which makes me think that this may have been a newer release. Also, the only reason for not finding it in the USA may be that you did not go to the right hobby shop who was acting as an USA distributor. While this is somewhat uncommon in the USA, I do see European manufactures sold here from time to time. So, your locomotives may have been purchased new here in the USA.
Awesome video Dan I really liked it. I sent you a message on Facebook how do you want me to contact you and I've heard about those engines before there was a video years ago some Italian man have it running on his American layout
The vibes of this vid are immaculate. I love the background music choice. And, the C liners look great!
Dan reading Italian was immaculate
Wow never heard of this one. Very cool stuff.

I bought the ahm a&b units set in the 80s. I still have them and they still work flawlessly. Video posted if interested.

I wonder if the horn is triggered by magnets laying on the track between the rails?
@@Petemonster62 I believe there is a special section of track with a raised bit to operate this feature.
It’s a dan chribmas special
