I kind of assumed this! The person who built this house was using it for a TV which he had put all kinds of wiring though! Maybe for wood was his original intent but then decided a TV would be better.. haha, who knows.
inquisitivegreens He has a tv and u can have plants. It would also be a great place to store blankets, or maybe books and magazine. It’s uniquely yours. I like it. Beautiful houseplants! I enjoy your videos. Thx
Beautiful plants beautiful you beautiful eyes, just have a little tip and I shouldn’t even do it but I’m going to because I see so many women do it,do not put eyeliner on the inner eye of your eyelids it’s very damaging to the eyes, we only have two that being said you do it on the very outer lower underneath your lashes to enhance the length of your lashes or make your eyes bigger. A softer look go with the color of your hair go shade darker with your eyeliner, then rub it off with a fine smudging to soften it,you’ll have beautiful bigger eyes ✨♥️✨Your Beautiful it will give your eyes a softer a glow ♥️
I am a brand newbie! Heart Shaped Leaves recommended you because of your vast knowledge on Anthuriums! Your house tour is just amazing!! You have some of the most precious Philodendrons & Anthuriums in your home & they are popping! Thank you!
Your brick wall is gorgeous with the styled plants. I have a similar brick wall and I painted it white which brightens the room and reflects more light to my plants. Some people prefer the green foliage on red brick. Both are beautiful.
You should start a count of the commentaries about your voice being calming, relaxing, etc... lol! I have been collecting tropical plants for 4 years now but you make me realize how much more we can do with plants indoors! (sorry for bad english, and love from France!)
Haha, yes I am a bit surprised to see how many think that, but I am glad it can be nice for people to listen to rather than annoying. Thank you so much for watching! (Your English is great!)
I'm so glad to find your videos. Right now, I am starting the winter seasonal growing in my Minnesota home. I have 4 cats, so I wanted to use a glass cabinet and visualized something a lot like what you have. I've tended to be more of an outdoor gardener, but want to hang some more plants and propagate them indoors. I also admire that you use the Latin names and aspire to that.
I love love love your set up!! We have dark stained wood paneling in our living room and the green with the brown wood texture is just so beautiful but now I’m wishing I had brick haha just love the neutral contrast. You see bright bold colors from a lot of plant people which is so cool too but the more classic neutral contrast letting the plants speak for themselves, just breath taking.
My fiddle did not do anything in an entire year until I notched the new growth off because it just kept drying out, dying and putting new growth on top every time. Now started two new branches! :)
Your plant collection is amazing!!! Everything is so pretty. 💚💚💚 I saw a cercestis mirabilis today at my local nursery. Your tour was the 1st I've ever seen it, I might have to purchase it. Loved that japonica and that velvety syngonium is beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
Amazing collection. I wish I had some of your plants Syngoniums are one of my favorite and the albo is a wishlist plant I'll probably never get cut that are so pricey anymore Loved the video
Thank you for sharing your living room with us, so serene to watch 💚 If I'm allowed to make a wish I'd love a video on growlights; set ups and how to think about lighting 💡☀️💛
Hi dear friend you really have a lot of beautiful house Plants in your home so beautiful it’s like living in a jungle already in your home thank you so much for sharing all your beautiful plants
The Plant at 6:04 looks simular to a Amaryllis, could get the Name. Maybe it does need a Resting Phase, like the Amaryllis does. In that time you don‘t water the plant for about 2 Month, it will lose all leafs and after you start watering it will start to grow back and bloom! Maybe that helps!
Wow this is so cool. I thought I'd watch a collector's tour to find out what my mystery plant is. Pastazanum, and philodendron golden dragon now on my wishlist. And much more 😅😍😍 If you ever find out what the mystery plant please share 😂 I have the same mystery plant ... 😂
I just bought a varigaged peace lily at the grocery store last time I went for food and supplies. It was in full bloom and gorgeousand un a one gallon. I did not even know they came varigated so I had to grab it. I loked online and name mght be Domino. Your plants all look so healthy and big and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! Yes, I've seen Domino around before, quite a nice plant! Seems like it might have a little more texture than the one I have, but it's hard to be certain.
@@inquisitivegreens YES!!!! Mine is very textured. Nothing like my small just green Peace Lily is. It is really lovely. Friend gave me a very large parrot cage and lots of work done on it so far. I want to spray paint it white but the weather is to cold here. to take it outside. might just hand paint in in place. Decisions decisions. I assembled it down on my kitchen floor yesterday. It came in pieces of course and I was not really sure how to put it together. And plants do not sit on perches so I had to find shelving to work inside it. I will have to take it totally apart to lift it up to my kitchen counter. Not to mention I do not have enough spray paint and do not want to make a 44 mile trip to the store and NOT supposed to do so anyway. Going to be a fun day.
That was very cool to see your beautiful plants. You mentioned that you like to make kokedama. It would be great to see how you make yours. I’ve made a few and tried a misfit small leftover staghorn in kokedama which seems to really do well so far. It grew so fast in a year that I will probably need to go bigger on the ball. I am thinking that round pots just don’t suit the crawling pastazanium and am considering moving mine into a rectangular shaped flower box if i can find or make the right one. Your videos inspire confidence. Thank you !🌿🌱🥀
Thank you, as always, for watching! Maybe I will do that kokedama video! I think you are right, a long rectangular planter box would definitely be more suitable for a pastazanum, that's a great idea before it gets too big!
Like most said...this was absolutely one of the most, if not the most relaxing house plant tours I’ve watched to date! Out of curiosity, well, seriously wanting to know how would one get their hand on one of those syngonium ‘mottled’? It was absolutely stunning!
Thank you very much for those very kind words! That really means a lot! If you are located in EU, I will be releasing them for sale in the future! Not sure exactly when yet, waiting on the next batch to properly root in!
I'd also really like to incorporate mounted staghorn ferns into my room but my walls don't get enough light I fear, so I'm planning out how to also incorporate nice looking grow lights as kind of spots on them 😅
Thank you for watching! Haha, yes, well.. most aroids can get quite massive with time. Soon everyone's house will be a wild jungle once they all grow up! I have some more cebu blue coming to my webshop in about a month for Europe shipping, if you aren't able to find one by then!
Yes, exactly! I actually had purchased the plant under that name, but it does not have the coloration that it should so I deemed that an improper ID and since then I wasn't sure what to think!
You have a beautiful living room and an amazing plant collection. I am so jealous of your pastazanum. And I love the fish tank idea! Are those grow light running along the ceiling?
Thank you so much! Yes, they are grow lights! I have them listed below. (From Ikea - highly reccomended) I really like them and along with being a grow light, they have become a main light source for the room.
Hello,I enjoy your videous soo much, what I want to ask you when you put your plants outside you are not afraid of bugs?I am asking because I was thinking to do the same later in April beginning of May 😍😘😗😙😗😘😍😘😗😙
Thank you! The nice thing about putting them outside is that although bugs are around, there are also predator bugs which will go after the other problematic bugs! So I haven't found a problem with that yet! However, I do find that wildlife such as rabbits and deer can be a problem.
I had the same question, especially when you take them back in at the end of the summer. I have heard from other people's experience that bringing them inside can also mean bringing pests with them and then there are no beneficial insects to counter them anymore. Do you do any preventive treatment when getting them back inside?
@@benjungle6647 I've been a bit lucky to not have any problems thus far, so I haven't done much other than inspect them closely to make sure I don't see anything, but I do this regularly anyway. I do feed most plants with some granule insecticide + fertilizer combo which I think helps ward off too many bad guys. The product is called "Provado Care Pinnar" or "Insekt Pinnar" from Bayer Garden, which I find to be quite effective.
Thank you! I hope so, that is the intent! but right now I am just trying to make more since they seem to be very sought after and hard to replace at the moment.. so I'm not sure when I will start to release them.
That Raphi stem is so THIC. Reminds me of Dracena canes. Your A. metallicum is so magical . I like that corner has so many velvet aroids; its interesting to compare them. Ps. Love that kitty painting!! 😻 Great tour!
The hole in your brinks is for to store wood to burn in your fireplace.

Thank you for sharing your living room plants with us! You have a beautiful collection! 🌿
You are so right (21:50) about how some stressed plants use all their remaining energy to bloom and try to propagate before dying.
Your brick wall is gorgeous with the styled plants. I have a similar brick wall and I painted it white which brightens the room and reflects more light to my plants. Some people prefer the green foliage on red brick. Both are beautiful.
That's a great point! The white would definitely help brighten it up a bit. No matter the color, brick walls really add some character to a room.
Love your videos! Very peaceful tour. Beautiful plants. Also I believe those are berries...

Your pastazanum is an impressive size and so beautiful. That red brick and fish tank idea would look super good too!
Wish you'd post more videos😍 will the gloriousum get as large as the pastazanum?
I really love your style of decorating, with and without plants. I'd also love to have a brick wall 😍

Is that philodendron possible Burle Marx? Yours looks more lime in color so maybe not but that might be the lighting

The opening you have near your. Fireplace I’m pretty sure Is for fire wood .
