Nice e46 vids.... I tried this a while back but doesnt last.... do u do this what, at least once a year? Thinking of just getting some glass HID's instead.
do this way and you gonna have a foggy and cloudy head light in three to six months again. And you do the same procedure again and again. If you do right way, watch "Chris fix" head light restoration video. period.
Unfortunately replacement lenses for this model (the facelift coupe) are $200 for the pair, as BMW never actually sold them (the headlight was considered a ‘sealed unit’), and a company called BimmerJakes has the monopoly on them.
Congratulations, you have just taken off the factory UV protection for some time the lamp is yellow, You should paint it with a UV varnish after polishingons

I thought these kind of BMW’s have a plastic cover you can pop off and replace with new so that the whole headlight assembly doesn’t need to be replaced.
You can't buy headlight covers for the facelift lights like these. And if you find them anywhere, they're aftermarket. BMW never sold headlight covers for these because you cannot remove the lens without pretty much damaging the headlight. I have a 2006 ZHP coupe and I've tried everything and they still won't have that "new look". I went all out and purchased a set of brand new headlights for mine but they dented my pockets, 2k for both lights. They look amazing though.
@@MrUnderhilll 380? I fucking wish! I have the adaptive xenon lights, you won't them anywhere for under around 2k brand new original lights. I know of an OEM brand called Magneti Marelli made them and they're a little cheaper but at the time I purchased mine I believe they discontinued making the headlights with the adaptive option. At the end of the day it was a steep price to pay but I don't regret it.

Are you supposed to change the pad on the polisher every time you used a different chemical?

Can you just buy them for like 50 bucks each?
Just buy new covers. I bought them at $40 for the pair.

Lenses for this particular model are only available from one place and they’re $200 for the pair...
For the price of the polisher, products, etc... you buy them brand new, it's the only way to have "cristal clear" headlights
That's. Vodka in the bucket, not water 😁😁
Racist
It didn’t even get any cleaner at all according to the cover photo
they kind of look the same. i would just buy new headlight covers
