    He is the only one (or at least one of the few) on TH-cam that actually installs the cable correctly! Several other videos installed it incorrectly! Be very careful where you get your information from TH-cam. Just because someone has a cam doesn't make them knowledgeable on the subject. This video is gold.

    I swear, you're the ONLY person that sets up the throttle cable correctly on these carbies !! I figured out how the nipple at the end of the throttle cable sit in the carb slider a few years back and every person I've spoken to tries to say to me that the cable wraps around the slider blah blah and I'm doing it all wrong blah blah..... lol
    So THANK YOU for confirming the correct technique of setting up these carbs !!

    Great Video! Finally get to see a video of one who knows how to sit cable in slide ! I had figured this out on first attempt ! I did not have to file cable nib for mine, but saw a few videos of people totally feeding their cables with 180 % bend kinks at the slide without realizing how dangerous this can be for a full throttle stick situation! One thing I can suggest is to run a proper pitch tap to ease threading using modified cable adjuster onto cap of carb.This motor is sill in breakin stage so I'll play with jetting after a couple runs. THANKS!😎

    Thanks this was more helpful then any other video of this carb, plus most dont show where to place the slide if im correct it go straight down the front of the carb so spring sits on mount of slide.

      I got the pk 80 from gomax a few years ago and it has one of those g4 cylinders, I have the same engine with these clone carbs on 3 bikes and they all run great with the 62 jet and non ethanol gas with Lucas semi synthetic oil, but I've had a couple of them break off due to the mounts on these carburetors, otherwise they are less than $20 and better than the NT. I haven't tried any other carburetors yet.

      @kjsmolik  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is an idle screw, air fuel screw and a screw holding the fuel inlet.

      This is 100% the proper way bud. I have literally used dozens of these carbs and thousands have done it the same way. The cable isnatill attached as you can see the slide comes out with the cable. It's the proper way to do it. If it didn't work for you then you did something wrong.

    Watched the whole video just to hear your expertise on adjusting the mixture screw and in the end you say it doesn’t have one. “No air fuel screws to turn”.... while I’m starring at it on the video, haha. Right! Good video though for the noob that can’t figure out how to hook up a throttle cable.

      The sha clone does not have an air fuel screw as I said in the video..This carb in the video is not a clone..its the real deal..

      @Charles Hammrain man there's an idle screw and air mixture screw on his, he's got a legit carburetor you don't.
      You got some knock-off runtog carb that's why👍
