I've never ate here but my neighbor has and she raves about how good it is! You definitely get your money's worth there.

I pass by that shop almost each time I'm out. Heard its dang good.its a video,so I'm wondering if the amount of stuff on it,is to make it look like alot, but if ya got a bunch of orders going, do they put that much on each and every sub?! I'm going to go try it out. I live about 2 miles from it. I'm from Bristol, just off of 126 going towards Blountville. Haven't been to the new Hard Rock Bristol Casino yet. It's really going to build up around here. We got the BMS Nascar Speedway, the casino, and the roads are being paved nice and all kinds of new bussines places, restaurants, and stores newly built hotels, even got a Starbucks.now. Turning into a tourist trap. Ya get here and not wanna leave! I may be bias, but it's a good place to live IMO.

My husband and I visited Bristol Labor Day weekend 2021, and because of your review stopped at Phat Daddy's. OMG...that place is amazing! I ordered the 8" Phat Daddy and it's huge! That was 4 meals for me...no exaggeration. My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak and said it was delicious. The owner, Gino, is so friendly and welcoming. We sat at a table inside and Gino brought us a meatball to sample and wow! The meatballs are amazing, his sauce is delicious and the meatball was huge and very tasty and tender. The man is Italian and I'm from NYC and lived in apt buildings where the halls smelt of sauce on Sundays, so trust me on the meatball and sauce thing. We're relocating to the Bristol area and can't wait to stop in and order a meatball sub next time. Thanks for recommending this place...it's so worth it!

I am so glad you spoke about the tourists. I currently live on a lake in Vermont and the summer with runners, bikers, walkers, joggers blah blah is a bit much. We are selling our home here and looking forward to moving to Tenn. to the country. We are looking at a home in Limestone which is nice, but there is a beauty in Bristol, but I am not sure I want all that action everyday? HHMMM so much to think about..love the vids guys

I suggest Limestone or Telford over Bristol. Right. Now we are having a crisis due to the city dump on the Virginia side. Causing obnoxious and possible harmful fumes coming from it. So if all possible don’t move to Bristol at least until the fix the issue.

Come on down sir! It doesn't disappoint.I moved here about 11 years ago,and it's just enough to keep one entertained, but, you can chill in the nature part "country", or hit the slots and catch a race at the Speedway. If you interested in stuff like that. If not always a concert or live music some place in town. Good places to dine,as well. Come on down and be welcomed by all. Me st are nice and hospitable, but of course you will find accedently, the uneducated no manners type, but the nice out number the "not so nice".

Omg was there last week. The sandwich was awesome and the half size was enough for 2 meals! Gotta try the homemade meatball one next time!

Hey guys, I have heard how good their sandwiches are. Hope you all didn't have stomach aches afterwards lol, just kidding. Great video, hope you all are doing well. It is nice to see other channels from the tri-city area out there.

Thanks for watching out video. No we didn’t get stomach aches but it took two meals just to eat the sandwich.

Phat Daddys, I wish them good luck with their business. I've been once. I would rather have a Big Momma from Blue Circle or would love to have a Schlotskys, Firehouse Subs or Quiznos. Zeros subs are good too.

You can do that if your going to Walmart stealing the bread they made your sandwhich is made of

Thats a lot of meat but subs aren't usually made like that. They are layered with the lettuce and vegetables inside and the rolls aren't cut they are whole like the cheese steak. That looks more like a deli sandwich. But I will try one when I come down there for vacation Friday.
