This video features one hour of original music and ambience from the quest Both Sides Now. The song heard here is an unreleased, in-game version of Paul Leonard-Morgan's Bells of Laguna Bend. Outsider No More is probably my favourite, but damn, is this is a close second. Such a surreal experience the first time you go down into that lake, and what a great moment between V and Judy. Night City changes everyone...
Bells of Laguna Bend has a pull on me. It draws me in no matter if I am in game or sitting here on TH-cam. The Ambience just adds to it. A great escape again tugging at my memories of my time with Judy, sharing something pivotal in her life there, but the sounds and music make it come alive that no other way could. Keep up the great works.
It's been two weeks since I said goodbye to V. Still can't stop thinking about it.
and that my friend, is why I'm finishing every possible thing to do in game, AND just taking long walks around the city. Waiting for new DLC or the expansion. Updates. This world feels like my home now - sometimes more of my home than my ACTUAL home outside of the game!
@@arodenburg1570 I feel that. CDPR did such a great job making a city just like V described in the first e3 trailer, “the worst place to live, but everyone still wants to live there”. I objectively *know* Night City is a terrible place to live, but if i could move there, i would. And with how little i care for my current locale, and how much i care for NC, it really does feel like home at times.

I recall a slow sense of dread creeping up inside me as I played out that Laguna Bend gig with Judy. It seems I instinctively knew she was leaving me, and it confused me so much. Even though I knew it was a game, and everything was scripted, why did I feel as if I were losing a flesh and blood friend? As a result of this, I now avoid playing 'The Witcher' series, as I don't want to be made to feel like that again, and from what I've read and heard, CDPR more or less did that to players.
I hope future DLC will see us reunited with Judy, and a prequel with Jackie Wells is definitely something we chooms deserve.
Of all the NPC characters encountered, the ones I'd dive back into the game for are: Judy, Jackie, Kerry and Panam. Night City certainly deserves to be bigger. A subterranean level where the poorest of the poor live would have made for some interesting gigs, where sunlight is a precious and very rare thing.

Amazing!
CDPR made an astounding game, regardless of the overhype. Experiancing it for what it is, this game has that pull into it. These moments specifically where the writers flexed their muscles - define the game. Never romanced the characters just was there as a battle brother - the too hard runner, overly professional but in these moments felt a humanity with these people - judy, pan am, river ward - just sat and lived through these moments as if I was there.
Say what you will about bugs and such but I dont see people still talking about many games how they do this one (Skyrim might come close lol) definately the Witcher...
