Feel sorry for the people who are so wrapped up in the drama surrounding the game's release that they'll never experience what we all have here by shutting out the noise and just being taken on the wild ride that was 2077.
Some people didn't have a choice. I preordered the game on PS4 and it was borderline unplayable.... Wasn't until I bought an Alienware PC this week that I got the chance to play it finally.
When it comes to the cyberpunk genre I always wished that I was born in the future. But when I played cyberpunk 2077 it almost brought a tear to my eye because it's the closest thing for me being in a cyberpunk world
I feel the same way! Despite all of the bugs, and poor performance, I was really able to enjoy this game for what it was. I feel like the better characters and story beats (Panam, Judy, Johnny) really rose to the surface and were louder than all of the bad.
Also god damn, visually this game is incredible.
The game runs pretty well nowadays. Not perfect, and still a bit janky, but even on PS4, it runs well enough. And honestly, the experience outshines the bugs and glitches (though the funny glitches will be missed).

God I just want this game to fulfil its potential. I love the characters, especially Judy. Having finished the game with nothing else to do makes me kind of sad. I just want more content damn it.
For sure! For all the flak this game has got, I really enjoyed the game for what it was. The characters were done pretty well, and I hope we get lots of dlc and a sequel in the works.
The soundtrack, characters, and story are excellent, excepting the part where all of the endings feel futile - our PoV character is screwed in all of them. I did find Judy to be one of the most compelling characters in a video game though. Whether it was because of the way both she and V were dealing with the loss of a close friend due to the heist job failing, or how she was one of the few people in night city who was sincerely trying to help others.
i agree, i think this game has the potential to be the best single player game ever created, thats why im mad at cdpr. i hope they make the game better in terms of content too, adding more and more stuff as time goes. not only fixing bugs and all that
i also hope for more quality content in the future. please cdpr, don't fck it up like you did in witcher 3, after the story, the game died and the world was empty. yes, the dlcs were great, but when they ended, the world was emtpy again. cdpr had/has the potential to make the best games of the century (in perspective of realistic emotional storylines), but they ruin it by releasing too early and cutting content - something i will never understand, especially if they don't bring it in paid dlcs, i mean even if the owners just want to make money and don't care about the game itself (i feel that only the people who are actually the reason for the greatness of the game care, and that sure af aren't the ceo or marketing people), dlcs that content players brings money and trust in the company again.
please cdpr, listen to your community as you always said you would do, bring that dlc that fills that emptiness, bring that dlc that makes this game not only replayable, but always playable.
@@RN1441 I found all the characters super compelling. Particularly Johnny and the romance characters. Even as a guy I found river to be a very down to earth guy and had no problem drinking beer with him. Having picked the nomad lifestyle, things just clicked with PanAm and the aldecaldos for me. Judy's theme and story are beautiful, but I had a intense feeling of longing to just freely travel the horizon with a group of other people who can't stand the towers of failed dreams and broken promises that make up night city (or any other city)
Hits you even more when on her romance quest, hearing her memories in the background whilst she's talking. 👌

Her romance seems to fit more aswell, my streetkid V really connected with her and you've both lost someone close.
@@carlmarriott9385 Oh, that's interesting! My first playthrough was a Nomad and I was crushing hard on Panam, but I'm playing through a Streetkid run now and I really think Judy is the one for her!
@@carlmarriott9385 I played a corpo male in my 1st playthrough, since there was no male romance option for her I did all of her quests anyway for completions sake. For my corpo build, we were like best friends next to Jackie of course... But, I'm planning to do a 2nd playthrough soon, maybe as a male corpo again or streetkid, because cdpr did leave the old code for male V to romance judy, and I happen to know it lol.
@@TheWitch297 On my second playthrough now, doing a male corpo who's gonna romance Panam. I heard the ending where you leave with her and the aldecaldos is the better option of them all.
Pyramid Song is one of the best sidequests I've ever experienced as a gamer.
Wasn't easy, as male V, to say farewell to Judy as she left Night City.
I was here talking to here about Evelyn, I was really into the ambience, I felt the painful peace of the character. I was here when I said to myself: "It's decided: for me, Cyberpunk is a materpiece."

Damn this theme is just amazing. Everytime I hear it I got flashbacks from under the sea. I can even hear the church's bell and laughing children playing in the streets in my hy head.Definitely one of the most catching missions.
Fully agreed. Loved her last mission.... so calming, relaxing and interesting. Everytime i repeat the mission and hear her background music, i start thinking about life and how it would feel like exploring something underwater on your own, if you know what i mean. (SPOILER)
I also start thinking about her story about how she was bullied in school when she was a little kid and about how she wanted for Jenni Chapman to notice her. Her story is sad most of the part :( . Might also be my most favourite game characters of all time. The game itself too is great. The soundtracks and story tops for the most part

I love Judy and I love Cyberpunk. Its helped me relax when my anxiety kicks in.
There's something about Judy's theme (all versions, tbh). It's like, I can totally feel her. It's just so well made. And the melody... Wow. The way the versions portray a different part of her. The underwater one brings out her past. The romance song shows her vulnerable, soft yet passionate side. This version... I think it portrays her emptiness quite well.
It's with full right that one of her missions is called Pisces, and that she is, in fact a Pisces ☺

It's such a simple melody, yet so impactful and beautiful. And the fact that it represents such a great character like Judy made this track my favorite one in the whole game. It's like a break from the usual noise of the city. That moment when you go to Laguna Bend with Judy, it feels like you're in a place outside of time, a place that once was. It hit me like a truck the first time I experienced it.
Yes! A place outside of time is a perfect description, the entire underwater segment is such a standout moment of the game!
Yeah the game has its issues, but its still an amazing story with amazing characters. Music is so good I am using it for homeworking ambience.
I revisit music from this game all the time - this song is so whimsical and haunting at the same time.

Took me a few moments but I finally realized that this theme is the song she hums (SPOILERS!) when she's testing the audio for the underwater dive BD you scroll with her.

Her neighborhood underwater, man what a great mission and an amazing game. Each character has such deep development and emotion.
This was a compelling moment in the game.
I just did this mission on my second play through and I just stayed on the roof with her and listened to the music. It had me captivated.

I absolutely love this game. I actually cried during the Pyramid song. The best game I’ve ever played. Such a shame people refuse to appreciate it because of the fail release.

CDPR put alot of work into Cyberpunk and I'm impressed, but looking at the city from this perspective it feels like they were planning on making the world much larger....
At the diving tour, visit her old hometown in this dark solitude, and then listen to her, about the doll of her childhood-opponent/ person-of-interessed, this "...poor thing, all alone over this time..." has pressed the tears out of my eyes. If you are a real life loner with a lot of bitter experience with untrustworthy people, you will find in this game your moments of peace. Never before i met so special characters as in Cyberpunk 2077.

I wish there was much much much more content of Judy and a closure that ends in a bright tone. I´m to invested in that character... ffs
I have enjoyed playing as female characters in games where possible including my first playthrough on this, mainly to see the differences in how the developers handled that along with different options available. After i found out I couldn't romance Panam as a female V I thought OK next time I play the game I will play as male V.. However after finishing the game recently and going through all of the experiences with Judy, the lows and the highs of the romance/side quests and becoming so attached to her and being so happy in the relationship with her , I dont think I will be able to play as male V and see her leave. CDPR did an amazing job with character development especially with Judy, who goes through so much (of course as does V), and when she says at the end she is happy, wow, that was so amazing.. and made me happy... during this quest and scene I so wanted the option to talk more to her and try to help her breaking heart

I can't believe I slept on this track on my first playthrough. Just got back to this part on my 2nd playthrough and really focused on the music, hit me hard.
This moment, when she asked to be alone. It was heart breaking, and at the same time I wanted to be angry about how Evelyn got treated. If I could have I would have given Judy all my Eddie's and told her to get out of night city.
Well, Judy is the deepest character in the game. You can catch her feelings way better, than other characters. And also (im ru-speaking player) russian voice acting of Judy daaamn, masterpiece. One of the best localisations of all the games. I like it more than the original english one. And also female-V voice acting is good.
Started the game in December, finished 1st play through in Jan.

Man, such a stunning city
I have absolutely loved this game since launch, even despite all the drama surrounding it. I managed to shut out all the noise and drama and make my own decision about it and man am I glad I did.
And Judy, man. What do I even say. They sure as hell didn't disappoint with one of the most hyped characters since the beginning. Her story was so good, perfectly leading into the romance, which was wholesome asf (idk how they managed to make a romance scene wholesome and warm but well, CDPR does what CDPR does best I guess), everything was perfect for Judy. I fell in love with her IRL lol. After finishing my first playthrough as female V i tried to play Male V with Panam, but after I was done with Panam's thing I just found myself missing Judy so much I went and made another female V save lol. She brings me so much comfort and alleviates my anxiety in real life and idk how that's even possible but here we are.
cdpr didn't keep it promises, underdelivered the product, but seriously every moment I spent with those characters stories, getting to know them and maybe building up to intimate moment, was worth every single minute spent in night city.

I said this many times after release, and I’m glad to see many others sharing the same experience and enthusiasm: the story line and character development in this game is simply amazing. I find myself playing again and again. The beautifully rendered city and its outskirts, the nuanced VO, the subsequent emotional attachment to the characters, it just never gets old.

Although Night City is set in the US, real US architecture and buildings are very blocky and square, so for me, there is only one city in the world that feels like Night City, that's London. I hear this and London pops into my head every time. Full of crime, corruption, lawlessness, many different shaped buildings, random access openings revealing sub levels of the tube overlapping itself. Pedestrian walkways leading to nowhere, just go to bishops gate tower and look up, that thing is MASSIVE, only thing it's lacking is bridges connecting to other structures of the same size. Dystopian city, but it's got it's nice parts, just like Night City.

Really wish CDPR would've continued to take their time on this game. If it just cooked in the oven for another year or 2, I think the public reception would be completely reversed. Even with all the problems this game had/has, it means so much to me. This song will always be my favorite, as Judy is my favorite Character. Hopefully, people can experience the game at it's fullest one day, and give it a 2nd chance.

Thous whining about bugs, c'mon guys like you've never been during 2000-2010 videogame period of terrible optimization and bugs, and non-functionality on ps4 fat version, who could even think that this game will work on Iron of the 2013, cmon! My SuperHot New PC of 2013 couldn't even think to lunch this game.
