Sony is a bit strict to who they give out sample devices.

    In totale agree with u...
Ive Xiaomi 13pro...but the autofocus work perfectly with camera app stock... Meanwhile with mcpro or motioncam... If you dont stay perfectly in the middle or if u have backlight source... The autofocus... Focus back to you...
    Have you notice this too?

    • @VelianSpeaksTech
      @VelianSpeaksTech  ปีที่แล้ว

Not so much, I used mainly mc24pro for some cinematic like style and I noticed that AF wasn't as snappy as with stock. I had to reshoot and recompose some of the footage.

@@VelianSpeaksTech yeah... I dont understund why the autofocus dont perform like camera app stock.

@@Timperi.cinematic It could be many things... I am not sure either, but as you said it, I remembered in mc24pro I had to even go to manual mode to get some of the scenes :(

    • @Timperi.cinematic
      @Timperi.cinematic ปีที่แล้ว

@@VelianSpeaksTech yeah... U have ti use manual focus... With all therd part app...!!
Autofocus work fine only with stock camera app...
Ive tried filmic, protake, 16mm, motioncam, mcpro, open camera... All of these has the same issu.

I have a S23 ultra curently and the reason I will sell it and got ( I've already ordered) the 13 ultra is poor low light camera performance of s23U. Had the occasion to test the s23 ultra against xiaomi 11 ultea I got impressed how strong is mi 11 ultra still holds on. 13 ultra can't be worse!

The tone is good as well as the rhythm. Cheer !
Everything is said without complacency and naturally with your style. I am waiting for the global or at least European version for the bands that my ISP provides me. Many premium cameraphones provide excellent photos but when you start cropping on a large screen as long as the quality of the comparison video is at least 1440p (because below the comparison in the details is almost impossible) and that the viewed photos are not biased for any reason so the 13U sweeps a lot of them . This is just my opinion from a practiced look ;)

Which camera do you use to film yourself? I'd say it's the one on the S23u in portrait mode... kkkk... and I even dare say it's the front camera because of the autofocus.
About the maximum brightness peak, it seems that it lags behind the S23u, the iphone and the Oppo, and I don't know if you know, but according to the GSMARENA tests, in the s23U it is reached in automatic mode and not in the "Extra Brightness" mode ".
About that 4k recording test, I believe there were no problems because it is a controlled environment... do a test with it and the Samsung on a sunny day and I believe that in less than 15 minutes it will have problems... what doesn't happen is that the s23U because I already did such a test... the 13 Ultra can't keep things under control, unfortunately, and their marketing about the best and most modern dissipation system... aff
About your review itself, I think it was the best and most complete ever made about the device, and I can feel honesty and security in the content you brought us. Congratulations!

The reasons for my decision is that:
Samsung is actually innovating and researching and inventing mew things
Xiaomi is only buying what is available on the market, they do not research
Samsung works with Solid updates Policies of listening users, fixing bugs, fixing issues, Optimizing the hardware to make the best out of it.
Xiaomi have the good intention, but not always make the best out of their intention.
Samsung makes equally good photos in terms of light use, focus, quality, sharpness (if used with camera assistant app to prioritize focus instead of speed) with 0,77 inch sensor
Xiaomi needs 1 inch sensor to achieve the same?
As whole, Samsung gives me better overall package, compared to Xiaomi.
With this said, i firmly stand behind my words.

Thanks for your review. I still prefer Xiaomi system over Samsung. By the way I really don't like Galaxy S10, Note 20, S22 ultra and S23 ultra photos. Pixels soup most of the time. And I don't like it. I don't care the photos look good on the screen whilz being pixels soup after. I prefer Rog Phone 5 photos and Xiaomi photos. Honor and Huawei, ZTE, Nubia, they all make severely better photos than Samsung. But I love the huge screen, the real square where you can see all your video and the S pen is a game changer, clearly. I love the big Galaxy S and Note for the S pen and screen.

I don't get it. What the hell is Xiaomi doing with their heat management? Year after year they brag about the newest state-of-the-art cooling system and yet they are always one of the hottest devices on the market. In Tech Nick drain test 13ultra was easily the hottest (and shortest lasting) phone with 66 C peak temp 😮

    • @dommcass4471

I agree but to be fair daily usage varies person to person. Some people do not even play games at all on their phones and won't even push them enough to experience much overheating.

I know, it`s same with the Oppo FX6P, I can get easily those phones to 58C even 60C after which I abort the tests...
The thing is, I can do this artificially when I use the famous Emad torture scenario:
      - 5G on/WiFi off
      - Screen sharing to another device
      - Navigation On
      - 4K HDR 60 fps YT video in PiP
      - Genshin or Asphalt
What is worth mentioning is that Xiaomi 13 Ultra is very stable under heavy load (let`s say in 3dMark Extreme Stress Test) with >80% and Oppo Find X6P isn`t.

What keeps me back from buying the pro, I don't need the ultra, is that shitty OS with all its Chinese crapware, problems with 3rd party launchers etc. A smartphone is a phone after all, so the software should be good. Now it's more about the camera's, so in fact it is a camera with phone functions.
