I'm 16 and I've been Catholic my whole life, and it's always great to hear about conversions.
As a baptized Catholic at birth this is something I really need to attend soon. I too graduated college recently, and things regarding jobs, professions, romance and all else have kept me feeling lost, tired, and encumbered.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Why the Redactors and Editors are not informing the "clientele" that the Tv and Video they produce and distribute have the approval of a Roman Catholic Bishop in Union with Rome or are benefitting of such approval from the Catholic Church Holy See of Rome - Ecclesiastical Approval Office of the Propagation of the Christian Faith according to the Canons of the Word-Tradition-Magisterium of the Church. Briefly: (after the death of Mather Angelica) the new Management (filo masonic ?) is a sort of DIY Christian religion as long the sales are good and the Holdings of EWTN grows, and new stations are increasing in numbers. Yes and they feel the True Presence even in silent Adoration also… Many Christians have the music and praise only and are absent of the Lord in this sacramental Presence… it is His True Presence that changes, not the music, the praise is just a bit of frosting on the cake adding to the experience. It is a Real experience and life changing!!

As a teenage boy myself, I always find it discouraging to see how indifferent other teenagers often are about religion. For those of you who are older, remember that not all of us are like that. There are lots of us teenagers who love our faith and want to be close to God.

I just think these conferences should be for everyone. I dont understand this segregation due to age, it makes no sense, the doors should be open to you whether youre 18 or 118. This is a big problem in the catholic church because there are so few fellowship groups and if there are some its only for college age people. Thats a really small window and if you fall outside of that, even in your 30s, theres nothing. I came from the protestant church where theres an abundance of fellowship and theres no discrimination based on age, gender, race, everyone was always welcome. But when I converted to catholcism I was shocked at how little fellowship there was and like I said, if there was any its was specifically targeted towards college age people. The underlying message seems to be: You should be married by a certain age and if not, you should be in college, otherwise you dont exist. Please please stop making these events for "The youth" make them for everyone, I guarantee you there are so many catholics of all ages who would've loved to be in attendance at this event.
I disagree because only young people can see the same flavor of hope they are dealing with in their lives. Peer pressure is a real thing we all have for a lifetime as a natural desire for Community. The universal Church has no man-made limits and if you are not seeing this type of gathering locally it is because the agenda in Rome is about blessing sin and ending the Holy Mass (the abomination of desolation). Speak out for the TLM and for an effective remedy which has severed Truth for 2K years; and speak out against against anyone promoting the false Council Vatican II as it is obvious its goal was to validate homosexual clergy (men and women) and end the Eucharist with changed prayers and voiding the Mass to suit the protest ants who helped to formulate it.
@@leevjr686 Honestly I have no clue what the point youre trying to make was. Im a young person and theres no difference between me and an older person, we're human, all of us. St Paul said: "For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile,slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians)
This creating division is man made, it doesnt come from God and the scripture verse I quoted proves that. When I go to mass on a weekday im the youngest person there by about 40 years. And that makes absolutely no difference. I would still go even if the church was empty. Its about God, you go there for God, hes number one and I wonder how many of the people who attended that event were there for God? And I wonder if that event had been open to everyone, the young the old, the blind and the lame, I wonder how many would've gone then? I think there were many who attended that event were not there for God, they were there to maybe hook up or hang out and if they knew the elderly were going to be in attendance they may not have gone which proves their heart is not for God, its for "Man". This is the big problem when you segregate, but when its open to everyone(which it should be)then you'll sort the wheat from the chaff. I learn so much from older people, to try to cut them out is literally insane, nobody wins that way, not the older people themselves and definitely not younger people.
Being young is a valid excuse for not knowing and learning from experiences you have not had. Segregating people is all over Scripture and our common experience. .....the wheat from the chaff, the good fruit from the bad and the false prophets from the followers of Jesus. The Jews separated themselves and still do because they deny The New Testament and you can't fault me of what others do. I think it was a good happening except the leadership is lacking some necessary teachings like the TLM. If you read passages praying for "unity" it is clear that unity comes only from Truth, which is the stated reason for the coming of Christ (John 18:37 DRC). Belief in the moral sense is "doing" (thy Will be done) and not only prayer. Your contradiction of me is not justified and is a verry common error these days. @@leevjr686 I disagree because no place in the bible does it say the young should be separated from the old. This is entirely man made and its a great error. I love talking to older people, listening to them, learning from them. Ive been mentored by older men in the church and its helped me enormously. To divide young people from older people is not natural and harms younger people. Ive been to events that were open to everyone and you can count on one hand the number of younger people in attendance. But when they make it exclusively for younger people the place is full of them. This is a problem because they're showing that theyre not there for God, they're there for man. Like I said, wheat from the chaff and theyre showing that their hearts are not right, they dont love God, they love "Man". Jesus said, if you love your mother or father or children or others above me you are not worthy of the kingdom of God..........this is what he was talking about. These events should be for everyone, that way you'll see whos really there for God and whos only there for "Man".
The modern Jews do not follow their own Scripture because Jesus and Mary are on every page of The Old Testament. I did not divide anyone in a absolute sense, I simply made a valid distinction. As you say by your own post we learn from our elders. I was young once too if you can believe it and surely do not regret being young or old because this is the script of life as The Creator Wills it into existence. My hope is that this conference seeks and promotes the tradition of the Church. I hear protestant "praise" songs here...I see them doing the whole protestant Pentecostal emo thing too...not always but it's there. TRADITION is the answer, especially during our dark times which are dark precisely b/c the Church has been attacking Tradition for 60 years. Start by educating them on how to properly receive the eucharist (on the knees and tongue with a paten to collect particles and ONLY by a priest...then by modest dress (Padre Pio would have a fit seeing all of these women in pants)...then by helping them focus on the INTELLECT and WILL rather than the EMOTIONS. The spirit is our intellect and will...the emotions (which is the protestant mode) is not the answer. I see drops of this traditional bent already in this video...keep going after that and make it an ocean of tradition i.e. TRUE Catholicism. God bless~
Not having the Masses being celebrated in the pre-55 form denies these hopeful young Catholics the most solemn experience possible. Obvious they are 'seeking' and deserve what formed me as a child and not what is being forced on Catholics by modernists like the wicked Dolan who should know better. Still .... the enthusiasm and joy is written on every face and is very hopeful for a world starved for Absolute and unchanging Truth. See Matt. 5:48 DRC for what is commanded.

Despite all his critics it is Francis that leads these young people and brings them to the faith.
The Faith he is leading them to is not Catholic. The name Catholic requires of anyone the learning of all Dogmas, and acceptance and faithful practice. Prayer to pacha momma and forbidding the TLM are anathema for just two sins being forced on Catholics. True Faith does not "go around" evil works, but rather advocates against them every one, every opportunity.

Catholics are no way as any others because what is true can not be contaminated with what is false to any degree. Do not envy or respect the lost souls in false religions, but rather reach out with Absolute Truth in Charity as commanded in Matt. 5-48 DRC. The eternal commission is still binds us to share without expectations and doing this counts to your Faith and deepens it in the process.
