It's funny you mention ride height, because from the outside (in profile), it actually looks like it's "sagging" in the middle. That was one of my main dislikes about this car, as I assumed the driving position would be too low. Guess that's why we should always test drive before making any final decision.
According to a lot of people. This is the most boring old man car on the market. Too normal. Two economical. Too cheap. Not fast enough. It's got a CVT. Its not quite inside. Gloss black!! How do they manage to sell almost 300.000 a year for such egregious transgressions against the automotive community? I'm starting to think those are the people that don't buy cars especially new ones. The Bentley crowds do not watch Camry reviews. I like the car . I thought it a good time to take advantage of aggressive pricing at a local dealer and get into a hybrid. Less than a month in I don't have a solid opinion. But so far I like it.
I personally think it’s an amazing car I really don’t see the it as an old man car,it has a great amount of torque for what it is I think that’s a perfect amount of horsepower for an economy car and the inside is really quiet because of the laminated glass and such , the 2.5L 4 cylinder is also very quiet in my opinion but for the price and reliability overall I rate the car a 9/10. Only thing on it I think is old man like is the fact that I can’t remote start it from the key off fob. It also has a (ecvt) . It’s a good choice if you end up going with it.
It’s really not that bad of a transmission they have the ECVT transmission and not a CVT . “Several automakers use CVT technology, so it's important to understand the differences between belt-and chain-driven CVTs and eCVTs, which are closer to traditional step-type automatic transmissions in design. “Instead, an eCVT uses electric motor/ generators to control the speeds of planetary gearset components”
@@berlinmae07 . That's why I got an Acura. Sure, the mileage sucks relative to other brands but there is no cvt and no hybrid battery. Just a regular engine with a turbo. I work from home so the mileage is not a big deal to me.
Red color is very cool

I’m uploading a video of the Xse trim level today let me know what you think. It’s a bit more loaded and it has more horse power and torque.
I like everything about it but the fact it has CVT transmission I will NOT get one. Too bad coz i would've though.

The front looks awful compared to previous designs. Talk about a generic look.
