Fraczyk Stanislav

the backhand & topspin from both side, power plus serve & serve receive made the difference. li's quick hand was not enough. gergely mentally was very tough & confident. li was questionable & shaky. the penholder era came to an end. gabi jól teljesitett. fonákja és frizurája világklasszis és történelem.

+Galimah & guess what, the chinese about 10 years ago started to play the hungarian style, power from the extended arm & shoulder from both sides.

+Galimah o.k. i clarify it for you, the modern game started with the topspin & what you're looking @ here is how the hungarians wiped out the chinese in 79. the match which guo won against jonyer he cheated. the europeans knew that the chinese cheat by this time. it was coach berczik's idea to spin from both sides & be aggressive against them, cuz they were too quick at the table. his idea & technic is live & well today which the chinese adapted & incorporated in their game. having the right technic is one thing, but you also need talent & training. this team had it. in fact they could've played all night long & the chinese still would've lost against this old hungarian team. yes i'm hungarian american.

but looping and top spin had been around far longer than the hungarians. the thing with the hungarians were that they were the first to use speed glue, making them have far better catapult effect on their drives, with lesser effort. hungarians were the pioneers true, but they are not emulated that much in todays game. the hungarians lacked HEAVY in the short game. something that could be seen clearly in the next(81) wtttc event....were china presented 2 new players, cai zhenua and xie zaike who were masters in the short game
