People don’t understand how this is therapy to some in ny and i look forward to a good snow storm just to get out when nobody else is around . Nice truck perfect truck for the job . Nice show fall right there …slow and steady wins every time.
That’s a pretty good snowfall brother! Just curious, has it ever been a problem for you that your dually track is wider than your plow? Or seeing out the back window of your topper when plowing? From a fellow plow guy in Iowa (F-250 w/ a Boss v-blade).
Yeah I always have my eye out for a used 9 foot blade. It gets annoying when the dually runs right over the bank I just made. The 8 foot blade works if I'm plowing straight but any curve and the dually is in the bank making a mess. Obviously a reg cab single rear wheel truck would be best for plowing driveways but I work with what I have.
I agree, do the best you can with what you have where you are. Very few guys around here run dualleys and even fewer have toppers but at the end of the day is better than beating up on a half ton truck with too big of a blade. Stay safe brother!
You could add the buyers pro wings and you'll be almost 9'6. They work great on mine. Could also check marketplace. Guy has a bunch of plows for sale on there up in your state just now. @michaelr385
What part of Maine are you in? I lived in a spec of a place called Chapman, I guess it's part of mapleton up by Presque Isle. Was there for 11 years, I absolutely loved it. Had to move home tho, tough surviving up there.
Looks like you have a nice layer of ice under there. How did you make out on the Feb 4th storm? In western maine we got very heavy snow and a lot of it. I had to chain up to move it in my hilly areas.
Yeah there was a lot of ice. The ice is almost all gone now. We've had a couple warmer days. Feb 4th was very similar to this storm so I didn't film it
effort #1...give it to the neighbors
I like your dog 🐶

Love that diesel cold start sound! Nice job plowing too
Love seeing that rotating light on the roof instead of an LED! Nothing like that pop of a rotator
Great job plowing,enjoyed watching.
Similar weather here in New Brunswick Canada Nice rig you have there. I love watching your video and how you run and don't abuse your equipment 👍
nice video man. i dig the truck
You are so cool
Do you run studded tires? Looking at a plow for my 97 K3500 but don't want to buy a second set of all terrains
