They’re fucking back! Holy shit I couldn’t believe it when I first saw it.
Easily one of the best punk/hardcore bands of the 2000’s.

This band will always be excellent to my ears.
This is a band of integrity who didn’t really give a damn about getting popular, instead they offered more than decent punk rock music, great lyrics and great messages. Those who can benefit from this can consider themselves lucky.
good memories with this song. smokin with some buds with this blaring on blazing summer days was the best.
i remember in 2003 this album being entirely free online via streaming and it blowing my mind away
still hits like it use to in my teen years.

I love Strike Anywhere, but I really miss Inquisition. Half of the actual street-punk bands wouldn't be around if Inquisition hadn't been around. People may not know them but the bands do. Strike Anywhere's vocalist
Thomas Barnett really captures what Inquisition brought to the scene. Strike Anywhere is an amazing band, good songs, great meanings, awesome sound.

One time I saw a dude with red dreads walking down the street in Richmond and thought to myself "man, that dude looks like the guy from Strike Anywhere." Looking back, he probably was.
It doesn't stop them from being sharper than every other punkband out there.

Damn right.. They have just chosen to dampen there mood in there songs.. Sure songs like faint resemblence and 6 ways till sunday there quite older stuff was fucking maginificent and was the upbringing up there fame but they still spread the same message they always have done . and thats what make them a true brilliant mother fucking band!

Argue about which genre of punk this is all you want. Its a group of guys, with instruments they know how to use and a singer with a voice to be heard. these guys are more Crass from earlier albums on, reguardless of what GENRE they are.. One of my favourites of today. /,,/

I saw them with Propaghandi on sunday, They were outstanding!! Maybe the best performance of the night. Pth were a bit dull in all honesty but musically great. My friend and I met Thomas, a very cool guy indeed.

@TheHooliganEyes You're one of the few people who can explain it in a way that makes sense. I get what you're saying. But of course, I'm not ignoring the change in their music style. And I'd prefer more albums like Siren Song and RPM, and Appeal To Reason is my least favorite album (good, just not amazing), but when Endgame came out, it was a huge relief, and I do feel like it was a perfection of their new style. Or a sort of blend between their new and old. Am I making sense?

Actually I went for Propagandhi having never heard of PTH. I liked them but I fell in love with Strike Anywhere and I was already into Propagandhi :p

Rise Against and Strike Anywhere are my fav bands along with Comeback Kid, A Wilhelm Scream, Anti-Flag, Inquisition (Tom's extinct band) and Set It Straight, in Punk/Hardcore music. Still the last two albuns by Rise Against are somehow weak, they are getting away from their hardcores roots, it's really a shame. Still love them all, long live this bands, they make my life meaningful.

I seen these guys live with Good Riddance in Buffalo, NY. Some guys mohawk got caught in my eyebrow ring in the mosh pit and I had to wrestle him to the ground and get it out as we were getting bootfucked by other moshers until someone pulled us up. It's priceless insanity like that which generate the memories that make the punk scene the time of your life! It was a really great show that night too!

@ThisIsNoise17 I agree that Rise Against is a great band (One of my favorites), but there is no denying that their musical style, has changed. This makes it easy for hardcore fans who liked the old Rise Against to dislike their newer albums which do have a more "pop-ish" feel to them. They lack the same aggressive, raw, punk sound from their older songs. They haven't changed the message, just the method.

You might want to check them out here on the tube! although, a couple of songs can't really do it justice. I was always more into metal until a friend sent me a Propagandhi album, they got me into 'punk' too!

Okay you guys really gotta stop bitching about how much you hate Rise Against. they're style really hasn't changed all that much, and even if Appeal To Reason was not as good, Endgame is amazing. I think you guys are just the type to hate or abandon a band just because they become popular, despite the amazing musical art of their songs and meaningful lyrics. Grow up, Rise Against deserves recognition than most other bands out there.
PS, Strike Anywhere is amazing.
