Why did you measure 77mm?
To center the rack. The rack has 4 1/4 turns from lock to lock. So, another approach would be, to steer it to one side and move it 2 1/8 turns.Then, you can connect the steering column so that the steering wheel is centered too.
Can you tell me how to tighten the steering rack? Do i use just the hex key or do i need to tighten the nut behind that hex bolt?
