European food may be known for its fermented foods and baking more than colorful veggies,but I think gefilte fish can have a salad with it. It's commonly served on lettuce with carrot garnish, the horseradish alongside it. In my opinion the best horseradish is straight up grated without loads of vinegar or sugar. The mockery of gefilte fish is overdone. Probably because of a generations association with canned versions. More modern versions are much more palatable. I feel like some of the channels do people dirty when they're new to it by insisting they try the canned,cold,jar mush they love to recollect with repulse. The actual ingredients shouldn't be that bad for people who like sushi and wasabi type things,pate,or poached foods. Just basically poached white fish pate. The canned isn't the original,so why not the modern version.Luckily you weren't run into the ground,but it would be more interesting if you could try gefilte fish Russia through the century into modern times. 1800's stuffed back into the fish skin,1900 vegetarian gefilte with ...celeriac(?) ,poached/boiled for three hour version ,jarred🙃 1950's,modern oven poached /baked,on salad,bain marie,crusted,steam ,poached,wine poached ,frozen,and seaweed vegeterian gefilte.
This is great entertainment
not all Jewish food looks or tastes like that! Sephardic food is definitely different and delicious!

@@raezell.5901 I don't disagree with you. In fact I've been saying the same thing. It's a shame because they seem like genuine good guys but the filthy language turns off a lot of ppl. It's one thing to talk like this with your peers (and unfortunately this has become the norm), and another to broadcast it to the entire Jewish world.
