In this tutorial, you will discover a very simple, beginner-friendly way to create professional explainer animations from scratch using only PowerPoint and GIF animations, without the need of any graphic design or animation skills or experience.
The great thing about PowerPoint is that pretty much everyone with a PC has it, so most people have used it in the past, which makes it extremely user-friendly, as there is actually no learning curve to it.
In a world of boring PowerPoint slides, make your PowerPoint animations stand out with animated GIFs!

[2023 VERSION🎬] HOW TO MAKE EXPLAINER ANIMATION IN POWERPOINT - th-cam.com/video/z1iJc2iFF2k/w-d-xo.html
I've never thought you can do such things with Powerpoint, well done and thanks for this great video.
Me neither! It's not exactly what PowerPoint was intended for, but it's still possible to do as it's so easy to use PowerPoint and everyone knows it
This was really helpful, I've been looking for the best video animation maker for days now, and they're all very pricey. Your video helped me a lot. Thanks a bro :)
Try Blender...Its free.
Blender is definitely not easy.
@@bhupendrasinghrawat2516 I just installed it today .
@@VideoPlastyOfficial do you have any tutorials on Blender . ??

I was in quarantine for a little over two weeks and you cant really learn over a computer that well if they don't know how so I'm rushing to do mine and it has to last for 2 minutes so I was panicking so thank you for making this video

I'm so happy to hear that, thanks for your comment and good luck with your project!
This is such a simple video. Thank you!

I'v been waiting for making an animation. Thanks!!!
That's fantastic, best of luck with it!
Man, You literally saved my life!
That's awesome!

Tx for this great video. How do I get this fancy properties bar on the right with the accordion options you have. In my powerpoint everything is in the top bar.
I'm super thankful that I've your tutorial. It's very helpful for me! Thank youuuu
Glad it was helpful!
Cool! Interesting content!gonna try this because im really interested on how to make animated videos
Awesome, go for it!
Wow I like how the PowerPoint has no watermark and we produce professional type of videos from it and this video even made it better
Awesome, glad to read this comment. Go for it!
Even I rehearse timing and then click yes. My voice over still doesn't sync with the animation on powerpoint 2013. I use one complete voice over throughout the whole presentation. I set the voice over to play across the slides.
That also works too, yes :) Great workaround!
This is so awesome. Thank you for this tutorial! Do you have any free resources for the voiceover to sound natural? I tried text to speech generators but they sound terrible and I don't wanna use my own voice (I'm not a good voice actor)
Thanks again.
Hi Eduard, Brilliant video, excellent explanation - well done and thanks.
Felicitări Eduard. Faci o treabă minunată .Mult succes.
Incredibly helpful, thank you so much!
You're very welcome, glad you found it helpful!
Ohhh. I was waiting for you to teach me how to animate it. Lol

No idea, I think I might have the latest version for 2019. GIFs should work fine in any PowerPoint though :)
Good tutorial - I never thought about using gifs in PPT! I'm using Mac and audio output worked for me - I guess it's been updated since this!

Hi Eduard,
I have an animation project I’d like to discuss with you and to see if it’s possible. If so, where do you think i should start?

Thank you Eduard for the tutorial
Thanks buddy, happy to learn something new. I'm from India and new to learning ppt. Will try this one today... ❤️
Have fun!
I just discovered this. Subscribed. Thank you .
Awesome, thank you!
Hello, tried to make one myself and downloaded the gif animations. However, I don't know what program should I have on my computer to be able to play/open them. Please help.
Do you have PowerPoint? Add them to PowerPoint, they will work fine there.
If you just open the GIF directly on your computer, they usually don't play directly. You have to open in a browser. So right click the file, open with -> select Chrome/Opera/Firefox/Safari/etc.
This is wonderful but I can't find the option to be able to extract in the video format as you shown it will appear in the top of power point .. please help ..I use office 2007
I'm sorry but I have no idea if it's available in PowerPoint 2007, that's a pretty old version.
the intro of your channel what it's called? where i can lean how to do it please can u tell me ?+ great video thanks :)
i would like to learn how to do it too :)
many thanks eduard!
This is really cool ...thankyou for making this video💓
My pleasure 😊
Hi Edward, this video is awesome and really helpful, anyway I still don't get it, how you match the timing to changing slide align with the voice over ?
Hi Amrin, glad you find it useful!
It's the part explained at 16:37 with "Rehearse timings". That's basically where you tell PowerPoint at what moment in the voiceover to move the slideshow forward by actually pressing the next button during slideshow (can be done with arrow key or space bar during slideshow)
Awesome. Thank you
Thank you for the tutorial and it is really helpful. Thank you
Happy it helps!
thank youuuuu . saved my life!
Great to hear!
How did you do the voice over? Do you have a video tutorial for that? How did you make the timing it follows exactly each slide?
I recorded the voiceover myself separately. If you watch this tutorial, you see how I adjust the timing of the slides to the voiceover.
wow that's very good for me to make my own teaching material through power point. It's very helpful.thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Nice tutorial, but what is difference? If I make video, slideshow, restaurant menu or broucher design by powerpoint, instead of videoscribe or other software? and where we get this type of animated image? Thanks..
What program did you use to create the GIFs? If the rotation point of shapes could be moved then similar animated characters could be created in PPT.
You could technically create something somewhat similar in PowerPoint, but it's just a massive headache. They're all created in After Effects, the perfect program for motion graphics and character rigging.
Awesome tutorial! Well explained, easy to understand - I learnt a lot! Thanks! (looks like I'll be buying some gifs off you now lol)

Thank you! Cheers!
wow!! great help for my grades!!
Hi Eduard, thanks for great tutorial. Can you please dedicate some time to help my as a MAC user? You mention it in the video - that you will come back to it, but there's no other mention. How can the export with audio can be done using Keynote? Or any other way? Thanks.
Hi Miroslav! I'm actually a Mac user myself. You can check out the same tutorial done using Keynote: th-cam.com/video/yyS8Is3tKJE/w-d-xo.html
Hope this helps! :)
Thanks alot you were so helpful ;have wonderful day 💗💗💐

Hi! Thanks for this video. Really big help. Im also interested in knowing if videoplasty is the source of the GIFs of one of my favorite vlog, which is Med School Insider by Dr Kevin Jubbal. Can you answer that for me? Or is this somewhat confidential?
No idea. Please provide a link and I can check. It's not confidential if you can clearly see the same GIFs on our marketplace.
@@VideoPlastyOfficial sure. this is the link for his vlog. th-cam.com/channels/3VWbWk8qDBiF0741izgpQg.html

There really aren't any. At the moment, you can only find stock GIFs on VideoPlasty: videoplasty.com/stock-gifs
use giphy.com/ and copy gifs (right click copy, not save) to your powerpoint
Pixabay Dot Com have stacks for free
