i think there's an important disclaimer that needs to be made here, if you hit QTY and select all stations and THEN transfer target coordinates, this wont work since tdc depress with transfer coordinates to ALL selected stations. meaning everytime you would step and hit tcd depress you would overwrite any previous coordinates transfered. unsure if this is working as intended, gonna try and submit a bug report for the time being it is important that if you do use this method to ripple, that you follow this method step by step

You already know baby, fly Navy!
Your tutorials are top-notch; detailed, but not verbose. I've learned a lot from you - the way you put the content together makes it easy to follow and generate checklists for practice. The awesome narration voice doesn't hurt either haha. Thanks for the great content, I hope you keep it up :)

I finally got around to actually playing DCS, setup my Xbox controller via Tuuvas' tutorials. Learned the Su-25T, got bored of it quickly. Got the free trial for the F-15C and A-10A, enjoyed lobbing AMRAAMS and smashing tanks with some good brrrrt. Now I've moved onto the free trial for the 18C, and over the past few days have been having a blast. Now I just need to dig up $80 so I can have fun forever (or enjoy the 50% from the ED store, perhaps).

@trickerDCS Love your videos and getting into Hornet (from Viper), so this really helps. Question: when you did the markpoint example, you used TDC Depress, then rolled away from tgt area... you then pushed the Markpoint button.... Did you do that by taking your right hand off the stick and using a mouse? I ask because i'm finding the Hornet to need a lot of button / switch presses to complete a task. Thanks.

you can also just tdc depress, step to next station etc without selecting mission screen and selecting all the stations, it just means you have to click the pickle button 4 times instead of the hold
Which targeting pod are you using? I don't feel like I ever get targets that clearly who are parked with the ATFLIR pod, even in IR mode. Are you making some sort of adjustment to get them to contrast better?

This was a demonstration on static non moving targets. You are correct though, if they move some will hit and some will miss due to them all exploding at the same time from the ripple
@@TrickerDCS What I meant was that you have 4 bombs flying in at first, and then 4 more a few seconds later. Now, after the first hit, all 4 remaining bombs will miss. How do I drop all 8 bombs at the same time so they all hit the 8 targets at the same time?
Nice. I have a problem with Mavericks and ATFLIR. I can find targets and designate it. The Maverick is looking at it but won't fire. I'm in range, but it x out. I don't get it.

When you hit stations 2,3,7,8, how does it know to only drop one bomb from each station and not both? Does that need to be set somewhere? I figured if you selected a station, it would drop both bombs on that station
I must be doing something wrong, I keep getting all four of my jdams slamming into the same target. Do I need to undesignate before stepping to the next station? *EDIT* aha, as was mentioned in another comment here, set quantity AFTER assigning coordinates.
Reminder: If you want to choose new targets after the first pass, remember that changing the target coordinates will apply to all selected quantities. This happens even if you're choosing different stores separately. To avoid this, undo the previous quantity selection before setting new targets.
Make sure your TGP is up and ready, make your HMD SOI and mark the location using the HMD reticle, when the area is marked sensor select towards your TGP and it should ground stabilize

AAAAAGHHHH! I cant hit a thing. I've tried TOO,as well as PP. I've tried both targeting pods. I've watched a million videos (this is one of the best) . I have four tanks in a mission, stationary tanks. I use ScratchPad to select the targets in the F10 map for PP targeting. I give up|!

ATFLIR, no adjustments, everything is default

TOO1 corresponds to one bomb of the two on the station. So if you have TOO1 selected it will drop only that associated bomb
