Stamina recovery on amulet is essential. Also, while shirking fortification is nice, it's not as good in light armor. Would rather prioritize elemental aversion since you'll be going against mages/ranged players the most.
I have a very similar setup here, insatiable grav well on my medium chest and relentless freedom on the boots for some extra cc removal. The build is strong and has a lot of weapon swaps available! I personally like the strength setup best, only because it gives me a lot of fun weapon swap options. I typically will use greataxe as an opener and then swap to sword and shield with a light chest, blunderbuss, or even warhammer if I need some cc. I do think that the str/dex split is good but it also is heavily reliant on your greatsword so it's much more punishing if you whiff on your combos and doesn't leave as much room for followup with your secondary weapon. Even though the str setup is squishier I think it's fine if you have some lifesteal sustain on one or both weapons! It makes people make bad decisions if they see you low, and then you heal to full and get em.
Yeah I played around with the strength split. I think right now in wars you need the 200 con but in opr and arenas you could for sure drop the con and do the 300/50/165 split
Take Relentless Refresh instead of Giant Slayer. People are misreading the skill. It's not 50% CDR to Relentless Rush if you kill with Relentless Rush. It's if you kill anyone with ANYTHING. Also, Sonic Sword is pretty bad. Vicious only works if you are running 250 DEX and paired up with someone with reliable CC.
Any chance you could go over using the weapon in war/large scale content? Assassin sounds cool on paper until you become the paper. Would it be as easy as swapping to heavy armor? I'm a returning player who used to roll GA/WH Heavy armor for wars, but wanted to give GS a try after getting one shot by a single ability earlier. But I'm not so sure light armor will cut it knee deep in the enemies asshole.
Lets say that with light armor u are dead with 1 stun at war. And u can be 3 shotted by archers, and oneshotted by BBs... Highly depends on a skill level of the company memebers u are fighting, but if they are not even good but decent at pvp, u will not have even nearly as much freedom in the backlines as in oprs.
personally i have a lot more freedom in backlines compared to others just with how mobile this build is. but for wars you gotta run in a kill group, so a group of 5 dedicated to running high dps builds into enemy backlines and going to jump one target after another. If you arent doing that then any melee dps build is pretty hard in wars just cause there are so many people and heals in them to be able to operate efficiently alone against coordination.
Have you played around with SnS Greatsword build? Returning ex-GA WH bruiser here trying to get back into the backline hunting playstyle with the pre-nerf GA. Still playing around with it but to me it seems like SnS is just a better single target chaser. Not 100% sure though since I'm still trying stuff out
SnS is better at chasing and locking down singular players but I find it one dimensional in that sense. Greataxe, on the other hand, can be very good at locking one person, light clump, chasing, and escaping. So i find that extra dimension of playstyle fits me better
i can understand 50 dex but i have no idea you have 150 dex you dont need 150 dex this is your game but it not makes sence you have very interesting build
greatsword is the only weapon that scales equally with its split stats. all the others do not. so for maximum damage on greatsword you need to have a 50/50 split on its attributes, meaning 50/50 on str dex so 150 str 150 dex

shirking fortification is the most effective on light armor actually XD What are you on????

@@RedlafGaming Yeah I agree, with wars I think the higher con is definitely required
Should try leather armor for better armor dodge

is this build also good in pve I want to try to do damage in pve pvp with this build too?
Non of the pvp builds are good in pve u have 2 different targets in those activities.
@@By4o can you make a guide or do you know someone make a guide on it so i could just swich for pve pvp? with double head and big sword?
typically with pve I run the same on my greatsword and just toss on a hatchet instead of gaxe
RIP Timmy

there's something i have to check because i'm lv 60 GS 604 and next to you i miss 50 to 60 skill points
Attribute food buffs
Only one question...I saw 13k hp....how is that possible with light armor? (even medium). Any advise will be wellcomed :)
Put points in constitution?
Your HP doesn’t depend on armor weight. Only con attribute and the hale and hearty buff matter
obrigado, salve do brasil!
WPWP
hahaha
Good stuff.
Is this viable with medium armor too?
Not exactly. I think medium with greatsword you go the leeching build
@@RedlafGaming like leeching triple slash+ leeching weapon+leeching ring and leech gemstone or gemstone is too much?
I wanna try this build but my crafting is not at a high level
all the armor I bought on the market for a total of 15k and the greatsword is an easy level 40 boss drop
200 str 200 dex is higher dps. The GS does not scale correctly for some reason.
It scales evenly is why. Instead of .9/.6 it's like .8/.8

This is not assasin build bro
I feel it serves the same purpose. I got into the backline, am highly mobile, and assassinate enemy healers and dps
Yes it is
