You get the Scout Points by doing summons so the reason you only have 6 is probably because you only did the scripted Whitney summon. As someone who loves gacha games the only other game I've seen do something similar is DBZ Dokkan Battle and they just added their version of the feature recently after being out for 4 years. All in all this does seem to be a very F2P friendly game and depending on much it develops from here it might even beat out Dokkan as my new favorite gacha game.
Micro transactions are only used to get stuff you will get through normal gameplay, with it pretty much only being more in-game currency and getting more trainers that you could just unlock normally

Is pay to win in my opinion cuz of the power ups. If u want to win co op ex battles u need the best sync pairs, u will also need power ups if u want to make ure sync pokemons stronger, and how u get them? By scouting countless times. They did give u 3 gold power up tickets with the blue events but is only 3 and timed
The Daily Deal you talked about is the same as Dragalia Lost’s, which is one of the most F2P friendly gacha’s This video is informative, but it’s kinda clear you’ve NEVER played a gacha game before, this game seems pretty F2P friendly from what I’ve seen

It's a Gacha game. Like Fate Grand Order, Epic Seven, Magia Record, and the rest of them. I like Gacha games, but you gotta know what you are getting into. They will dangle your favorite characters behind low roll unlock rates top temp you to spend your money while they either up the rates for a limited time, or have them be a limited time trainer. They are often generous at first but it becomes harder to get gems organically over time. Theoretically this game could be different, but most Gacha games do this.
@Zinogre Sparking Because you have seen 3 little trailers and videos of TWIP and Distantcancer? Show me the way of time travel since you obviously know how the game ends up :^)
U can tell its pay to win. Strictly due to the fact in the laters chapters, lets say chapter 15. You can tell they want you to spend money to lvl up your pokemon due to the excruciating difficulty of the game. But the game is still pretty dope.
p2w or not doesn't matter to me, I'd still play this game plus I played a lot of gatcha games and this is no different from how I see it so I'm totally fine playing the complete free route as I always have with every gatcha games. The no stamina is a really big deal too for a mobile game.
The moment he said "you can't use the gems you get through playing the game naturally, can't be used to signal of trainers for 100, but instead have to spend 300" the game died for me.

I hope this game is better than the other mobile pokemon games, they all rubbish besides GO
Not surprised, after playing games like epic seven and a few others the transactions are pretty common for mobile games. Just play for free, it takes longer to get to a certain point ofc but you'll get there, enjoy it at your own speed.
A game, for at least IOS , called: trainer canyon, is quite similar to a normal Pokemon game and is very fun. It combines a multiplayer experience with a variety of Pokemon and adds in its own mechanics. It’s quite good when you get the hang of it. Definitely recommend.
The scout points are what's known in gacha games as a sparking system. It's pretty much put into place to stop people from spending too much on the game at one time (to prevent lawsuits). Each time you do a pull, you get 3 scout points. So you'd need to do about 134 solo pulls to use your scout points (which is REALLY low compared to other games like this). it would probably cost someone around $360 to get 400 scout points if they started with no gems. Also while it's not guaranteed, there's a chance your scout points will reset each time the characters in the scouting box change, at least, that's what happens in all the games I play that have this kind of system. The game will be 100% F2P, but if you want a strong team or all your faves, you'll have to either get lucky with scouts, or cough up some cash. Also the demo isn't out in Canada yet. It's coming soon, but Singapore got it first.
Games such as Ark mobile has micro transactions, and that doesn’t make it a Pay To Win Game, same goes with Minecraft. Bottom line, they gotta make money some how.
I've played many gacha games. The best way to get characters that you want is to reroll. Keep doing that until you get the ones you want. I've done that for Brave Frontier, Trials of Heros, Brown Bust, and Epic 7 and other past gacha games. It'll just take time it'll be worth it then you can enjoy!
Having played the game for a couple of hours I gotta say it really isn't that bad. Sure the gem farming is a little slow, but that is to be expected with only a few chapters available in the soft launch and no events currently available. In its current state you can collect enough gems to get a x10 roll (3k gems) before hitting chapter 10. Also the difference between paid trainers and the trainers given through progression isn't something to worry about. Only difference between characters is a small level difference between the rarities (3* max level = 90 and 4* max level 100), but honestly with a 3 star level 90 you are able to beat anything the game currently has to offer anyway. The story can easily be progressed through with the given characters and the only reason to buy new ones would be to gather specific characters. I'm hyped for the official release and I'm looking forward to see what else the game has to offer.
Having just registered earlier I'm kinda glad that it's possible that it's a free to play... And being a DeNa corp thing who also did final fantasy record keeper, I've at least something to evaluate the quality with
I’ve had my fair share of mobile games. One of the biggest plus this game has is no pvp. If pvp was in this game, it would kill this game with it being more p2w. I’m glad that it’s more co-op based. It shares some good similarities with a current mobile game I play called Dissidia Opera Omnia.
In the future there will be trainermon tcg cards, i swear! (Lol imagine if this was true lol) Btw im ONLY in ROMANIA and i already precomended. In 29 august ;-; (i dunno if its with money but when i clicked it was free)
I hate this kind of games. They are most of the time unplayable if you do not spend too much money. In Pokémon go I do not have really issues with the system since you can see what items you get from a box for example. Paying money for random characters and probably get the same character 5 times is really a bad system.
The only annoying thing i found with PokeMasters right now is the amount of trainers for certain types. like there's only one Dark type Sync Pair which also a 5* and one Fairy Sync Pair.
A pokemon game on your phone, no extra stuff, can send pokemon from home mobile back and forth, you make a team, you battle, like showdown but for switch and mobile, one time payment, that would be awesome Edit: also a lot of gotcha games start off for the first few hours with being really easy to get you hooked, then they start piling on the costs
Scout Points is basically currency you get when you do a Scout for a Trainer. Any Trainer. Specifically, a single scout will give you 3 points. Essentially, you need about 134 Scout/Rolls to get a Spark, allowing you to buy any character you may want. Not sure how much gems that is though. EDIT: Honestly, there's no pay2win here. There's no PVP. Only co-op. Its as much of a game like Fate/Grand Order, where they exclusively push Singleplayer Mode and Story Driven Quests, as well as indepth scenarios/stories for each unit. Voiced too.
I played the game within 5 to 7 hrs. So here's a tip. The only pokemon you need here in the early game(chapter 1 to 3 depending if you want to get ahead of the main story) is Cranidos because of the Head Smash skill. You can try your luck at the gacha. Once you get cranidos, go to level up course and beat the first one and choose the 2nd stage which has blaine as your opponent. Now at this rate I know you're atleast lvl 10 to 20 but try to grind the first stage for level up manuals until you get your 3 trainers to max level. I prefer piplup, snivy, cranidos. Make sure you already have the "Time to energize" skill of snivy, cranidos' head smash and piplup's bubblebeam. Now the strategy to beat blaine is to 1 hit ponyta/rapidash using head smash. Just buff X Atk. on Cranidos and pray to Arceus that head smash will hit and dont be bothered if cranidos dies because rapidash is coming with him to arceus heaven and the other 2 sidekick pokemon is easy to kill. It's the strongest skill in early game and you should abuse it. You can repeat grinding for level up manuals until you get to the chapter where you unlock the level cap limit. You can do the same for grinding tonics for unlocking level cap. I already have a lvl 70 to 85 sync pairs with the best Team I have for now which is Dusclops, empoleon and serperior. With this team, weakness is an illusion. I have unlimited supply of move gauge because of dusclops and serperior and i have 2 critical buffs(one is for all alies) and 1 special atk buffs(all allies) and my only damager is empoleon with unlimited bubblebeam and a 3k Damage Sync Move(crits also work here). And I finished the latest(for now, can't wait for the future updates) chapters in 7 hrs. Too bad Red and Blue is not recruitable yet. You can also team up tyranitar, salamence and dusclops. Best damage, def and crit buffs team. With AoE atk from tyranitar. Awesome combo. That's all. I hope it helps. 😉

kinda strange honestly as even some 3* have evolution/mega. preobably would be added later
@@Some2somewhere That's what I hope. I also hope they add some more characters I didn't see in the gacha. (I was pretty excited for Silver and Lyra but I didn't see them)
@AXBlast MG yes, but brendon doesn't, his treecko doesn't evolve

MISSING TRAINERS (from what you showed in that character list):
Leaf / Green
Lillie / Lana / Mallow
Serena
N
Drayden
Looker
There are more too.
CatToonz Ik I missed a lot, most notably the champions, but I’m guessing they will add them as events since champions like Cynthia and Red have been kinda confirmed already
This game doesn't even feel like Pokemon... I don't know why.
It does to me
I dunno, cuz ist a spinoff?
You gain scout points by scouting characters
1 scout = 1 scout point
So you need a total of 400 scouts for this
Its pay to win boy.. lets be honest about it.. No matter how many sweet words we throw at it, thats the truth
I'm exited for pokemon masters
And no stupid battery mechanic like pokemon quest
trust me, gacha mechanic's more annoying
Tbh, o kinda like Pokémon Masters more now That has stamina, when it came out it just felt like endless grinding, now i feel better playing the Game like an idle Game, just to Open, pass a Little of time, and then continuing the day
You're telling me this is a game about kidnapping- I mean, collecting, children? Awesome, now this is my expertise.
News: Masters has soft launched in Singapore and Canada.
Canadian's: Yeah so that was a fucking lie.
man your just describing a gacha game nothing new xD
Kaminari unfortunately, his viewers are babies in gacha games
Everyone at some point was a baby gacha game player.
TIP: Watch the video gamexplain made about their experiences with some exclusive early gameplay. They actually talk about this topic too.
Imo it might be, I’m still skeptical about getting this game 🤷🏽♂️, micro transactions might ruin it imo, but that’s just my opinion
Micro transactions are only used to get stuff you will get through normal gameplay, with it pretty much only being more in-game currency and getting more trainers that you could just unlock normally
In Pokemon Go you could also buy stuff and it didnt had that much impact.
Idk but the company in charge of this game has a good reputation in gacha community, so I don't think that this game will be P2W~
Malik Lander you said, "in my opinion" 3 times in 1 sentence
Its already ruined necause u have to catch trainers. Instead of mons
I'm kinda jealous of Singapore & Canada right now haha but I'm kinda bummed that it's being released at the end of August tho... 😅
I feel proud for showing up as the first like.
Thank you for being such a great Poketuber Poketips!
Edit: Ok, remind me not to feel human emotions guys. Since me, someone who loves to watch Poketips, is now just using him just to get noticed. Thanks guys for this huge scientific breakthrough!
That is sarcasm for the smart people.
Yikes
Is pay to win in my opinion cuz of the power ups. If u want to win co op ex battles u need the best sync pairs, u will also need power ups if u want to make ure sync pokemons stronger, and how u get them? By scouting countless times. They did give u 3 gold power up tickets with the blue events but is only 3 and timed
The Daily Deal you talked about is the same as Dragalia Lost’s, which is one of the most F2P friendly gacha’s
This video is informative, but it’s kinda clear you’ve NEVER played a gacha game before, this game seems pretty F2P friendly from what I’ve seen
Fellow Dragalia player!
For all you non compatible users, you're actually blessed. This game is dead boring. It's all repetitive grind that puts you to sleep. If you say otherwise change my mind.
Do not give pokemon company any money if you do then they will have a reason to not make another main series game i am mad this game looks better than sword and shield i will not buy any pokemon stuff untill gamefreak gets there act together the models in sword and shield suck i could animate them better do not give them your money for what ever reason

Theoretically this game could be different, but most Gacha games do this.
well if its a 7% chance to get a 5 star, its fine for me
wouldnt mind working for gems
Yeah gacha games that have generous 5* rates like Feh I honestly don't mind grinding the premium currency.
Dont even expect more than 0.7%
Dont count on it i

You can find it in the App Store but u pre order it and it will download August 29th
Yes! Look at all those powerful trainers. We have Cynthia, Red, Lance, Kukui... but wait... WHERE IS HIKER DAVID????
... In our hearts.
I refuse to get it because their should be more effort put in to the main series-you know... where the real fans are
Oh look, a 'real fan' elitist
Sword and Shield,dude.
Wish I could play the demo.
I'll be waiting for a shiny trainers tutorial video
Ok, but why does Clay have their Palpitoad instead of their signature Excadrill?
Now people will be like, oh! It's the person from Pokémon Masters. When playing a pokémon game.
p2w or not doesn't matter to me, I'd still play this game plus I played a lot of gatcha games and this is no different from how I see it so I'm totally fine playing the complete free route as I always have with every gatcha games. The no stamina is a really big deal too for a mobile game.
The moment he said "you can't use the gems you get through playing the game naturally, can't be used to signal of trainers for 100, but instead have to spend 300" the game died for me.
Alfred Campbell this is what good Pokémon games are dying for get used to it’s all we got now man whatta you gonna do pay 60 dollars for a game (sword and shield) that probably has less Pokémon then the cheaper ones
@@COSMOCREME masters is already a pay to win. Hell can you even get different pokemon besides the ones other trainers has. Pokemon SWSD is the same price as any big title, its nothing new. It's also so much bigger than any pokemon game so yes people is gonna buy this fabulous game. Its already most preordered game worlwide js...
Thank God flint has Infernape as his partner pokemon I now found my team mates 😂
Not all games with micro transactions are pay to win but some games are he even said that in the video
I really hope Ilima will be added, she’s adorable
I think Ilima is a boy...And sadly, I didn't see him in the Gacha roster (reference 3:42)
Well, damn,...
Hopefully they’ll add him eventually or something
@@ryaquaza3offical I know! Ilima is really cool.
"You collect trainers"
I already do that, but irl and against those will.
release date ?
in short: its an outrageous pay to win game
I've played many gacha games. The best way to get characters that you want is to reroll. Keep doing that until you get the ones you want. I've done that for Brave Frontier, Trials of Heros, Brown Bust, and Epic 7 and other past gacha games. It'll just take time it'll be worth it then you can enjoy!
Um... Can I not have a pikachu? I want mudkips.

And being a DeNa corp thing who also did final fantasy record keeper, I've at least something to evaluate the quality with

but have an iPhone 😐
I’ve had my fair share of mobile games. One of the biggest plus this game has is no pvp. If pvp was in this game, it would kill this game with it being more p2w. I’m glad that it’s more co-op based. It shares some good similarities with a current mobile game I play called Dissidia Opera Omnia.
In the future there will be trainermon tcg cards, i swear! (Lol imagine if this was true lol)
Btw im ONLY in ROMANIA and i already precomended. In 29 august ;-; (i dunno if its with money but when i clicked it was free)
I mean yeah after seeing the feedback for sword and shield they would probably want some money to cover up for those lost pokemon fans..
Well I know one character I want in my team Cynthia's 100 iv and ev gardchomp
I hate this kind of games.
They are most of the time unplayable if you do not spend too much money.
In Pokémon go I do not have really issues with the system since you can see what items you get from a box for example.
Paying money for random characters and probably get the same character 5 times is really a bad system.
It's a gacha game why did you expect
Let me spare you your 6 minutes of life - yes, it's a mobile free-to-play gacha shit. What else'd you expect?
Wish I saw this comment before I watched the whole video
The only annoying thing i found with PokeMasters right now is the amount of trainers for certain types. like there's only one Dark type Sync Pair which also a 5* and one Fairy Sync Pair.

The Crabdude that's awesome!
@@purpleskribblyline No wonder you didn't register
You're a ghost
A pokemon game on your phone, no extra stuff, can send pokemon from home mobile back and forth, you make a team, you battle, like showdown but for switch and mobile, one time payment, that would be awesome
Edit: also a lot of gotcha games start off for the first few hours with being really easy to get you hooked, then they start piling on the costs
Aslong as Zinnia is here and isn't behind a pay wall, im good
Scout Points is basically currency you get when you do a Scout for a Trainer.
Voiced too.
I'm pretty sure all mobile games are pay to win now, it looks fun though. I'm hyped for it
I played the game within 5 to 7 hrs.
Collecting people instead of pokémon?
How much do No-Escape Ropes cost again?
I hope it's like Fire Emblem Heroes, whenever there's an ingame event you get some amount of in game currency for free daily for about 10 days or so
